Clause 27. Any sum payable by the contractor as compensation under any of these condition shall be deemed to be reasonable compensation for the Act or default in respect of which the same becomes payable without proof of the actual amount of damages or loss sustained. Clause 28: In the case of a tender by partners, contractor shall State the name of the firm and shall notify to the Engineer-in- change any change in the constitution of the firm as soon as such change occurs. Clause 29 : In the case of any work for which there is no such specification as is mentioned in rule 1, such work shall be carried out in accordance with distinct specification and if there is no distinct specification, the work shall be carried out in all respect in accordance with instructions and requirements ofthe Engineer-in- charge. Clause 32:(1) In every case in which by virtue of the provisions of section 12 sub-section (1) of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇'▇ compensation ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ Govt. is obliged to pay compensation to a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ employed by the contractor or any Sub-Contractor from him in the execution of the work Government will recover from the contractor the amount of the compensation so paid and without prejudice to the rights of the Government under section 12 Sub-section(2) of the said 'Act Government shall be at liberty to recover such amount or any part thereof by deducting it either form the security amount deposited by the contractor or his credit under clause 1 of these conditions or from any other sum due by Government to the contractor whether under his contract or otherwise.

  • The request for clarification and the response shall be in writing or by cable, but no change in the price or substance of the Bid shall be sought, offered, or permitted except as required to confirm the correction of arithmetic errors discovered by the Employer in the evaluation of the Bids in accordance with Clause 27.

  • Without prejudice to the Authority's rights to terminate this Framework Agreement as set out in Clause 27 (Termination), if a right to terminate this Framework Agreement arises in accordance with Clause 27 (Termination), or if the Authority reasonably believes that a Consistent Failure has occurred, the Authority may suspend the Supplier’s appointment to provide Goods and Services to Contracting Bodies under this Framework Agreement by giving notice in writing to the Supplier.

Related to Clause 27

  • Clause means a clause of this Agreement;
