CNY Notes definition

CNY Notes means Notes denominated in CNY; “Code” means the U.S. Internal Revenue Code of 1986;
CNY Notes means Notes denominated in CNY or Renminbi deliverable in Hong Kong, or such other CNY Center as specified in the applicable Pricing Supplement;
CNY Notes means the Notes denominated in Renminbi; and

  • If a holder of CNY Notes tries to sell any CNY Notes before their maturity, they may receive an offer that is less than the amount invested.

  • In the event that funds cannot be repatriated outside the Chinese Mainland in Renminbi, this may affect the overall availability of Renminbi outside the Chinese Mainland and the ability of the Issuer to source Renminbi to finance its obligations under CNY Notes.

  • All payments of interest and principal with respect to CNY Notes will be made in Renminbi.
