Code Documentation definition

Code Documentation is a specific type of Documentation (sometimes described as “internal software code”) comprising the written text that accompanies computer software source code, describing the functionality incorporated in the source code, its data structure, algorithms and application program interfaces, and explaining how the computer software performs its functions.
Code Documentation means (i) any design specifications (e.g., logic manuals, flow charts, and principles of operation), testing specifications, test procedures (automated or manual), internal documentation (e.g., database schema designs, functional specifications, training materials, sales guides, build procedures) and (ii) any internal development tools (e.g., build tools, install tools, test tools, debug/diagnostic tools, reviewer guides), and localization versions, all of the foregoing to the extent provided to CRC by OPC under this License Agreement and related to the Source Code of the software listed in Exhibit A.

  • Contractor will provide to LAUSD all copies of such Work Product (including, if applicable, the source code and Code Documentation for any software that constitutes Work Product), and LAUSD will have the exclusive right to copyright such material.
