Code of Discipline means the Code of Discipline of the Presbyterian Church of Australia;

Examples of Code of Discipline in a sentence

  • If the court is not satisfied with his explanation, or if he has not responded after two citations, the court may charge him with contumacy under the Code of Discipline.

  • In cases of contumacy the General Assembly proceeds under part 8 of the Code of Discipline.

  • Note: the jurisdiction of the General Assembly in cases of discipline is given by rules 2.22 – 2.26 of the Code of Discipline.

  • Note: citation is also dealt with under part 8 of the Code of Discipline.

  • If this decision is based on a concern related to discipline or health and safety then appropriate procedures as set out within the Code of Discipline for Students and the Quality Manual should be followed.

  • The General Assembly may, but only in accordance with the Code of Discipline of the Presbyterian Church of Australia, deal summarily with any minister, communicant or adherent whom it considers to have acted contumaciously against its directions, order or authority and may punish the offender at its discretion.

  • A violation of any item in the preceding Code of Discipline may result in immediate suspension and/or expulsion.

  • Note: Rule 9.19 of the Code of Discipline provides that a minister or other officer of the church deposed from office or suspended indefinitely is not eligible for election to the office of elder.

  • In all cases involving a charge against any minister, communicant or adherent of the church, the General Assembly proceeds in accordance with the Code of Discipline of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Australia (see GAA Code Chapter 8).

  • Any such matter should be pursued under the GAA Code of Discipline.

  • Code of Conduct means an agreement or set of rules not imposed by law, regulation or administrative provision of a Member State which defines the behaviour of traders who undertake to be bound by the code in relation to one or more particular commercial practices or business sectors;

  • Ethics means a set of principles governing the conduct of all persons governed by these rules.

  • Reckless Conduct means conduct where the supplier of the recreational services is aware, or should reasonably have been aware, of a significant risk that the conduct could result in personal injury to another person and engages in the conduct despite the risk and without adequate justification;

  • You or Your means the person(s) who has signed or authorised by other means the Direct Debit Request.

  • You, Your, Yourself means the Insured Person shown in the Schedule.

  • StarCompliance Code of Ethics application means the web-based application used to electronically pre-clear personal securities transactions and file many of the reports required herein. The application can be accessed via the AB network at: https://alliance-ng.starcompliance.com/.

  • Hispanic American means a person having origins in any of the Spanish-speaking peoples of Mexico, South or Central America, or the Caribbean Islands or other Spanish or Portuguese cultures and who is regarded as such by the community of which this person claims to be a part.

  • HCBS means home- and community-based services.

  • Executive commissioner means the executive

  • You and Your means the person(s) named on the Schedule as the insured.

  • OIG means the Office of the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

  • Progressive discipline means a process of applying and documenting disciplinary actions progressing from less to more serious depending on the employee’s history and the nature of the offense.

  • Code of Practice means the Code Administration Code of Practice approved by the Authority and:

  • Employee Handbook means the employee handbook applicable to all employees of Infosys during the entire tenure of their employment.

  • You/Your means the person who owns or leases the Covered Equipment and any person to whom the Policy is transferred pursuant to clause 11.

  • Company Policies means the Company policies and procedures in effect from time to time, including, without limitation, policies and procedures with respect to the Company’s “Regulatory Credit Classifications” (as defined in the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K filed with the Securities Exchange Commission on March 7, 2016 (the “Form 10-K”)), and as amended from time to time, and any credit risk policies and procedures in effect from time to time.

  • You/Your means the person(s) (natural or corporate) investing money in the Bond in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and includes their successors.

  • Public school academy means a public school academy or strict discipline academy organized under the revised school code, 1976 PA 451, MCL 380.1 to 380.1852.

  • Religious organization means a church, ecclesiastical corporation, or group, not organized for pecuniary profit, that gathers for mutual support and edification in piety or worship of a supreme deity.

  • Code official means the Code Enforcement Officer, anyone fulfilling the duties of the Code Enforcement Officer on either a temporary or permanent basis, or any designee of the City Manager, the Director of the Department of Planning and Development Services, or the Code Enforcement Officer.

  • SAP Partner Code of Conduct means SAP Group’s global policy document that provides a set of informative guidelines to enable partners to comply with good business practices which is published on SAP’s partner-dedicated website.
