Codexis Materials definition

Codexis Materials means, on an Enzyme-by-Enzyme basis, the materials to be supplied on or behalf of Codexis to Company, as may be set forth in the applicable Work Order.
Codexis Materials means those materials disclosed or transferred to GSK by Codexis for the practice of the Platform Technology, including (a) the Codexis Libraries and Codexis Enzymes, and (b) the Codexis Core Technology Improvements to which GSK is entitled pursuant to Section 2.2.9.
Codexis Materials means all biological materials disclosed or transferred to Novartis by Codexis under and specifically in furtherance of this Agreement, including, without limitation, (a) the Codexis Libraries and Codexis Enzymes, and (b) kits and plates generally consisting of multiple, genetically-diverse enzymes that are made commercially available to the general public by Codexis through Codexis’ catalog or website, as listed in Appendix I to the Technology Transfer Plan.

Examples of Codexis Materials in a sentence

  • Upon fulfillment of Codexis’ order for Enzyme, termination of this Agreement, and/or upon Codexis’ request, Company shall return all unused Codexis Materials to Codexis.

  • Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Codexis hereby grants to Company a non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license, under the Codexis Patent Rights and Codexis Know-How, solely to use Codexis Materials to manufacture Enzyme for and on behalf of Codexis and/or its Affiliates.

Related to Codexis Materials

  • Biological Materials means certain tangible biological materials that are necessary for the effective exercise of the Patent Rights, which materials are described on Exhibit A, as well as tangible materials that are routinely produced through use of the original materials, including, for example, any progeny derived from a cell line, monoclonal antibodies produced by hybridoma cells, DNA or RNA replicated from isolated DNA or RNA, recombinant proteins produced through use of isolated DNA or RNA, and substances routinely purified from a source material included in the original materials (such as recombinant proteins isolated from a cell extract or supernatant by non-proprietary affinity purification methods). These Biological Materials shall be listed on Exhibit A, which will be periodically amended to include any additional Biological Materials that Medical School may furnish to Company.

  • Goods/Materials means any of the articles, materials, machinery, equipments, supplies, drawing, data and other property and all services including but not limited to design, delivery, installation, inspection, testing and commissioning specified or required to complete the order.

  • IP Materials has the meaning given to it in clause E8.1 (Intellectual Property Rights).

SAP Materials do not include the Customer Data, Customer Confidential Information or the Cloud Service. SAP Materials may also be referred to in the Agreement as “Cloud Materials”.

  • Study Materials means all the materials and information created for the Study, or required to be submitted to the Sponsor including all data, results, Biological Samples, Case Report Forms (or their equivalent) in whatever form held, conclusions, discoveries, inventions, know-how and the like, whether patentable or not, relating to the Study, which are discovered or developed as a result of the Study, but excluding the Institution’s ordinary patient records.

  • Cell Line means the cell line, particulars of which are set out in Schedule 1.

  • Drug Substance means an active ingredient that is intended to furnish pharmacological activity or other direct effect in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease or to affect the structure or any function of the human body, but does not include intermediates used in the synthesis of such ingredient.

  • Developed Materials means Materials created, made, or developed by Contractor or Subcontractors, either solely or jointly with the Judicial Branch Entities or JBE Contractors, in the course of providing the Work under this Agreement, and all Intellectual Property Rights therein and thereto, including, without limitation, (i) all work-in-process, data or information, (ii) all modifications, enhancements and derivative works made to Contractor Materials, and (iii) all Deliverables; provided, however, that Developed Materials do not include Contractor Materials.

  • Licensed Technology means the Licensed Patents and the Licensed Know-How.

  • Supplier Materials has the meaning given in clause 8.1(h).

  • Manufacture means the production of products in a factory using labour, materials, components and machinery and includes other related value-adding activities.

Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.

  • Manufacturing Materials means parts, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, plans, drawings, and information produced or acquired, or rights acquired, specifically to fulfill obligations set forth herein.

  • Biological Samples means any physical samples obtained from Study Participants in accordance with the Protocol for the purposes of the Study.

  • Customer Materials any materials, data, information, software, equipment or other resources owned by or licensed to You and made available to Us pursuant to facilitating Your use of the Services, including Customer Data.

  • Licensed Material means the artistic or literary work, database, or other material to which the Licensor applied this Public License.

  • Manufacturing Know-How means all information, techniques, inventions, discoveries, improvements, practices, methods, knowledge, skill, experience and other technology, whether or not patentable or copyrightable, and any copyrights based thereon, relating to or necessary or useful for the production, purification, packaging, storage and transportation of Collaboration Products, including without limitation specifications, acceptance criteria, manufacturing batch records, standard operating procedures, engineering plans, installation, operation and process qualification protocols for equipment, validation records, master files submitted to the FDA, process validation reports, environmental monitoring processes, test data including pharmacological, toxicological and clinical test data, cost data and employee training materials.

  • Input Material means all documents, information, representations, statements and materials provided by Customer or a third party on behalf of Customer, relating to the Services, including computer programs, data, logos, reports and specifications and inventories.

  • Contractor Materials means Materials owned or developed prior to the provision of the Work, or developed by Contractor independently from the provision of the Work and without use of the JBE Materials or Confidential Information.

  • Third Party Material means software, software development tools, methodologies, ideas, methods, processes, concepts and techniques owned by, or licensed to a third party and used by the Service Provider in the performance of the Services;

  • Custom Materials means Materials developed by the Supplier at the Procuring Entity's expense under the Contract and identified as such in Appendix 5 of the Contract Agreement and such other Materials as the parties may agree in writing to be Custom Materials.
