Collection Main definition

Collection Main means a pipe that collects or transports wastewater from the service lines of a wastewater customer.
Collection Main means sewer pipe owned, operated and maintained by the Sewer Department, which is used for the purposes of collecting and conveying wastewaterand sewage, and to which service connections are attached. A pressurized main or force main is not considered to be a collection main.
Collection Main or “Main” means a sewer pipe owned, operated and maintained by the District, which is used for the purpose of collecting sewage, and to which service connections are attached.
