College and definition

College and. “school” shall be synonymous and shall refer to the various units of educational instruction which comprise the University. For the purposes of this Agreement, the term “college” shall refer to the following colleges and/or school of the University: St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, The ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇ College of Business, the School of Education and the College of Professional Studies. For the purposes of this Agreement, the term “college” shall not be deemed to include the School of Law. “Continuing adjunct faculty member” shall refer to an adjunct faculty member (i) who has taught in the fall and spring semesters of the preceding academic year; (ii) one whose specialty is such that the particular course is offered in only one of the two semesters of the academic year and the adjunct faculty member has taught such specialty in the two previous semesters in which the course was offered; or (iii) who, in the opinion of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, as a result of past services to the University, should equitably be considered as a continuing adjunct faculty member.

Examples of College and in a sentence

  • Students are not required to purchase books, supplies or equipment through Cambridge College, and the College does not offer student housing or transportation.
