Commercial Strain definition

Commercial Strain means the Strain to be used to produce a Commercial Compound, as developed or optimized, as the case may be, during the applicable Development Project.
Commercial Strain means, with respect to an Ingredient, the Strain or Strains that are selected by Amyris for commercial production of such Ingredient meeting the respective commercial Ingredient Specifications (as such may be modified by mutual agreement), or with respect to an Intermediate, the Strain or Strains that are selected by Amyris for commercial production of such Intermediate meeting the respective commercial specifications agreed by the Parties.

Examples of Commercial Strain in a sentence

  • If the Management Committee decides to use a Commercial Strain and Commercial Compound for the production and commercialization of a Product(s) through a joint venture entity, the Parties shall negotiate in good faith to establish a joint venture legal entity (or such other legal entity structure as the Parties may agree), in which each Party (either directly or indirectly through one or more of their Affiliates) shall be a 50% owner.

  • Commercial Sale means the sale of Product (as indicated by shipment of Product) to an unaffiliated third-party of the Licensee, or of its sublicensee or distribution partner, such as a wholesaler, managed care organization, hospital or pharmacy and shall exclude (i) any transfer of Product by Licensee to its sublicensee, distribution partner or Affiliate and (ii) any distribution of Product for use in research, development, pre-clinical and clinical trials.

Unless a product is considered a milk product under this subdivision, milk product does not include dietary products, infant formula, ice cream or other desserts, cheese, or butter. Milk products include the following:
