Commissioning Work definition

Commissioning Work means the installation inspection, field commissioning and acceptance testing, and controller power-up test, and start-up work to be conducted by Supplier under the Supply Agreement, for each Turbine, in accordance with the Commissioning and Start-Up Procedures.
Commissioning Work means electrical, instrumentation and mechanical activities post completion of construction verification necessary to set the plant to work. Construction verification includes the following activities;
Commissioning Work has the meaning as set out to in subsection 6.2.5 and “Commissioning” has a concomitant meaning.

Examples of Commissioning Work in a sentence

  • Additionally, Purchaser, in connection with its purchase of the Turbines, desires to purchase and Supplier desires to provide the Commissioning Work (as defined in Appendix I hereto), all on the terms and subject to the conditions set forth herein.

  • The Seller shall indemnify and hold harmless the Buyer from the Seller’s failure to promptly pay its Subcontractors and Suppliers with respect to the Startup and Commissioning Work at the Site.

  • In the event that any of the actions of Purchaser, the EPC Contractor or any of Purchaser’s Contractors cause a delay in the performance by Supplier of the Commissioning Work, Purchaser shall pay Supplier its actual documented costs directly attributable to such delay, including wages, lodging and meals.

  • In performing the Commissioning Work, Supplier shall be deemed a contractor of Purchaser performing the Services on Supply Items then owned by Purchaser.

  • Purchaser shall arrange for the provision of full grid power to each Turbine to ensure completion of the Commissioning Work for each Turbine.

  • No less than thirty (30) days prior to the date Purchaser expects Supplier to commence the Commissioning Work, Purchaser shall provide Supplier with written notice (the “Advance Completion Notice”) of Purchaser’s anticipated completion date of the Installation Work and the date on which Supplier shall commence the Commissioning Work (which date shall be no later than the date that Supplier is obligated to commence the Commissioning Work as set forth in the Completion Schedule).

  • Purchaser shall ensure that at all times during Commissioning Work, each Turbine shall have a continuous supply of electricity from the grid, and that Purchaser’s utility will accept electricity generated by such Turbine.

  • If a Force Majeure Event occurs that materially adversely affects Supplier’s performance of all or a portion of the sale and Delivery obligations hereunder or if such a Force Majeure Event causes any of the Commissioning Work to be temporarily or permanently prevented.

  • The Build Component of the Work is comprised of the Procurement Work, the Construction Work, the Training Work, the Commissioning Work, the Facility Performance Testing Work and the Finishing Work.


More Definitions of Commissioning Work

Commissioning Work means the work to be performed by Hydro One in respect of the Customer’s Confirmation of Verification Evidence Report and which may also include: (i) a Design Compatibility Review; and (ii) Hydro One witnessing the commissioning of the connection of new or modified Customer’s Facilities to Hydro One’s transmission system.
Commissioning Work means all of the work, activities and tasks required to completely and successfully complete the Commissioning of the Infrastructure, including all equipment, components, systems and sub-systems and Integrated LRV Commissioning, but excluding all Phase 1 Commissioning Work.

Related to Commissioning Work

  • Commissioning means the process for determining the need for and for obtaining the supply of healthcare and related services by the Trust within available resources.
