Communal Heating System definition

Communal Heating System means a system for the distribution of heating energy to meet the Heat Demand of the Development which is supplied with heating energy from any on-site heating plant and/or a Decentralised Energy Network “Decentralised Energy Network” means an energy network identified by the Council to provide heating and hot water more energy efficiently to reduce local carbon emissions in a medium such as hot water or steam, from central sources of production, to multiple buildings or sites across a large geographical area “District Heating Connection” means the connection of a Decentralised Energy Network to the Development so that some or all of the Heat Demand of the Development is supplied by the Decentralised Energy Network “Defects Liability Period” means such period of time following Practical Completion of a building in which a contractor may remedy defects as may be included in the building contract for the relevant building;
