Community Connections definition

Community Connections. This seven-week program helps youth develop social and emotional skills while expanding their horizons and helping them deepen their commitment to their own futures through service, post- secondary education exposure, career exploration, and mentorship.

  • The Community Connections for People with Disabilities (CCPWD) grant opportunity is offered through the Indiana Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS), in partnership with the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA).

  • However, any accrual in excess of 10 hours must be agreed with the Manager Community Connections or the relevant Co-ordinator or Team Leader.

  • The validity of this Agreement is contingent upon the Recipient receiving a grant award from DDRS under the Community Connections for People with Disabilities grant program.

  • Approval from the Manager Community Connections or Business Unit Co-ordinators must be obtained for compensation of this nature.

Related to Community Connections

  • Community setting means a location outside a hospital inpatient, acute care setting or a hospital clinic setting. A community setting may include, but is not limited to, a home, group home, assisted living facility, correctional facility, hospice, or long-term care facility.

  • Community water system means a public water system which serves at least 15 service connections used by year-round residents or regularly serves at least 25 year-round residents.
