Community Shares definition

Community Shares means the $1.00 par value per share common stock of Community.
Community Shares is a means of raising money within a community benefit society (CBS) structure. All supporters’ trusts are formed as community benefit societies (as defined under Industrial and Provident Society legislation) and this means that they can raise capital finance through this method.
Community Shares means a form of shares known as withdrawable share capital, which is unique to society law. Withdrawable share capital can be withdrawn from the Society, subject to these rules and any conditions set out in a share offer document.

  • The City shall deduct from the paychecks of employees giving written authorization such sums specified for the following programs: - Community Shares - U.S. Savings Bond Program - United Way Payroll Deductions Program - Public Employee Organization to Promote Legislative Equality (P.E.O.P.L.E.) Related to Community Shares

  • Community school means a community school established under Chapter 3314. of the Revised Code.

  • Community setting means a location outside a hospital inpatient, acute care setting or a hospital clinic setting. A community setting may include, but is not limited to, a home, group home, assisted living facility, correctional facility, hospice, or long-term care facility.

  • Equity Shares shall have the meaning attributed to such term in the recitals of this Agreement;

  • ASA Shares has the meaning set forth in 2.4(a).

  • Ordinary Shareholders means the holders of Ordinary Shares;

  • Minority Shareholders means holders of Shares that were not tendered pursuant to the Offer or in the Subsequent Offering Period (as it may be extended by the Minority Exit Offering Period).

  • Company Shareholders means holders of Company Shares.

  • Consideration Shares has the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 2.2.

  • Newco Shares means the common shares in the capital of Newco;

  • Community water system means a public water system which serves at least 15 service connections used by year-round residents or regularly serves at least 25 year-round residents.

  • Common Shareholders means the registered and/or beneficial holders of the Common Shares, as the context requires.

  • Subco Shares means the common shares in the capital of Subco;

  • Community location means a public or private elementary or secondary school, a church, a public library, a public playground, or a public park.

  • Ordinary Shareholder means a holder of ordinary shares;

  • Merger Shares has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2(c).
