Commuter Student, definition

Commuter Student, in this policy, means a student who is living at home with a parent, grandparent, married brother or sister, or other approved relative or guardian, or in a dwelling owned by the same that lies within a reasonable distance to the UNT campus.

Examples of Commuter Student, in a sentence

  • Permission must be granted by the Assistant Director for Residential and Commuter Student Living.

  • A student who lives exclusively in the permanent or primary residence of a parent or legal guardian within approved commuting counties under the Commuter Student Policy in the Student Guide to University Life.

  • Roommates agree to discuss unresolved roommate conflicts with an Off-Campus and Commuter Student Services staff member.

  • In the case of only two roommates, or if there is a tie situation, roommates may consult with Off-Campus and Commuter Student Services for help resolving any disagreement.

  • To be eligible to purchase a Commuter Student Meal Plan, a person must be a student enrolled in and attending classes at the University of North Texas at Dallas.

  • Commuter Student: To be considered a “commuter student” to the Le Moyne College campus, the Student must reside with their parent(s) or legal guardian in their primary, permanent residence located within 30 driving miles (or 60 driving miles for transfer students) of the Le Moyne College campus (▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇).
