Compensable Event definition

Compensable Event means any one of the following:
Compensable Event means any Relief Event other than a Force Majeure Event.
Compensable Event means any one of the following: .1 material acts or omissions of the STA’s agents or contractors (other than Design/Builder and/or its subcontractors) which are inconsistent with the terms of the Contract Documents and result in any delay or cost increase to the Project that results in an extension of the Contract Time;

Examples of Compensable Event in a sentence

  • Report on Events Attended: Each Board member who attends a Compensable Event, other than a Board meeting or Board committee meeting, at the expense of the District shall give at the next regular Board meeting a brief report (oral or written, at the Board member's discretion) of the event attended.

  • No such failure or delay by City in delivering comments, exceptions, objections, rejections or disapprovals within the applicable time period shall constitute a City default under the Agreement or the basis for a Change Order, Compensable Event, Relief Event, or any other Claim.

  • In addition, the terms and conditions of any Transaction that gives rise to a Compensable Event shall be subject to acceptance by the Company in its sole and absolute discretion.

  • In the event that warrants become issuable to 350 Group in connection with any Compensable Event hereunder, the parties agree that they will execute a separate warrant agreement ("Warrant Agreement") for each such Compensable Event within 10 business days of the consummation of such Compensable Event.

  • An adjustment based upon documented loss of revenue by Wheelabrator due to a Compensable Event.

More Definitions of Compensable Event

Compensable Event means any one or more of the following: (a) acts or omissions of a Customer Party, including without limitation, any Customer Default; (b) inaccuracy or incompleteness in any data or information supplied to JCI by or on behalf of Customer; (c) any damage to or loss of equipment furnished or to be furnished as part of the JCI Work not caused by JCI; (d) inability of Customer to provide JCI access to the Project Site; (e) Unforeseen Site Conditions; (f) discovery of Hazardous Materials that may be disturbed or released by the performance of the JCI Work, including any delays caused by, or associated with any permitted Hazardous Material remediation by a third party service provider; or (g) failure of any utility supplier to take timely actions necessary for the performance of the JCI Work; provided, however, that Compensable Events shall not include delays caused by the negligent acts or omissions of JCI.
