Compound Family definition

Compound Family means (a) with respect to each Lead Collaboration Compound, such Lead Collaboration Compound, all Related Collaboration Compounds with respect to such Lead Collaboration Compound, and all Licensed Derivatives with respect to either of the foregoing, (b) with respect to Ispronicline, Ispronicline and all Licensed Derivatives with respect thereto, (c) with respect to each IND-Ready Option Candidate Drug, such IND-Ready Option Candidate Drug and all Licensed Derivatives with respect thereto and (d) with respect to each POC Option Candidate Drug, such POC Option Candidate Drug and all Licensed Derivatives with respect thereto.
Compound Family means the compounds that are [*] a Compound.
Compound Family means the [***] Compound Family or the [***] Compound Family.

Examples of Compound Family in a sentence

  • For the period commencing at the Effective Date and ending [***] days after the later to occur of: (i) the completion of the Design/Preclinical Collaboration Term and (ii) the expiration of the Replacement Term for the [***] Compound Family (the “[***] Option Period”), Pfizer will be entitled, by written notice to BIND (a “[***] Option Notice”) to exercise the [***] Option.

  • Upon receipt of each such notice, the Candidate Compound being replaced shall cease to be a Candidate Compound and the replacement Candidate Compound shall be the Candidate Compound for the applicable Compound Family.

  • Such right of replacement may be exercised by Pfizer up to two times with respect to each Compound Family.

  • Any Compound within a Compound Family undergoing optimization under this Section A.4, which is discovered to not inhibit the Target or have a modulating activity in the Target pathway shall no longer be considered part of the Avalon Technology, and shall no longer be exclusively licensed to MedImmune pursuant to Section 2.1(a).

  • INTRABIOTICS acknowledges and agrees that if INTRABIOTICS fails to make the payment required under Section 5.4 when due, it shall have no further right to obtain such license with respect to the relevant Identified Compound Family.

  • In the event that INTRABIOTICS, in its sole discretion, is not interested in pursuing research, development and commercialization of at least one compound within an Identified Compound Family, INTRABIOTICS shall notify NCE thereof in writing.

  • Any Compound within a Compound Family undergoing optimization under this SECTION A.4, which is discovered to not inhibit the Target or have a modulating activity in the Target pathway shall no longer be considered part of the Avalon Technology, and shall no longer be exclusively licensed to MedImmune pursuant to SECTION 2.1(a).

  • Any rights of the Non-Researching Party to use such Lead Compound Family in the Research Program shall be suspended until discontinuation of all activities by the Researching Party relating to such Lead Compound Family with respect to such Single-Party Research Target.

  • For each Compound Family selected by MedImmune under Section A.3.3, some or all of the Compound Hits within that Compound Family shall be designated Lead Compounds and subjected to Lead Compound Optimization.

  • In consideration of the execution and delivery of this Agreement, Pfizer will pay to BIND [***] US dollars [***], comprised of [***] US dollars [***] per Compound Family, such amount to be paid by Pfizer within ten (10) days after the Effective Date.

  • Product Family means an SAP product family which may comprise of one or several SAP software products or services as further set out in the applicable RSPI.

  • Compound means the taking of two or more ingredients and fabricating them into a single

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).

  • Compounds means any or all of the following chemicals, as the context requires:

  • Patent Family means all patents and patent applications that share a common priority application, excluding continuations in part, but including any divisionals, continuations, reissues, reexaminations, extensions, foreign counterparts or equivalents. For the avoidance of doubt, if any patent or patent application is subject to a terminal disclaimer with any other patent or patent application such patent or patent application and such other patent or patent application shall be deemed one (1) Patent Family for the purposes of this Agreement.

  • Licensed Compound means [***].

  • Collaboration IP means Collaboration Know-How and Collaboration Patents.

  • Lead Compound means any compound of lead other than galena which, when treated in the manner described below, yields to an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid a quantity soluble lead compound exceeding, when calculated as lead monoxide, five percent of the dry weight of the portion taken analysis.

  • Brand family means all styles of Cigarettes sold under the same trade mark and differentiated from one another by means of additional modifiers or descriptors, including, but not limited to, “menthol,” “lights,” “kings,” and “100s,” and includes any brand name (alone or in conjunction with any other word), trademark, logo, symbol, motto, selling message, recognizable pattern of colors, or any other indicia of product identification identical or similar to, or identifiable with, a previously known brand of Cigarettes.

  • Massive Multiauthor Collaboration Site (or “MMC Site”) means any World Wide Web server that publishes copyrightable works and also provides prominent facilities for anybody to edit those works. A public wiki that anybody can edit is an example of such a server. A “Massive Multiauthor Collaboration” (or “MMC”) contained in the site means any set of copyrightable works thus published on the MMC site.

  • Compound of Concern means a contaminant that, based on generally available information, may be emitted to the atmosphere in a quantity from any source at the Facility that is significant either in comparison to the relevant Ministry Point of Impingement Limit or if a Ministry Point of Impingement Limit is not available for the compound then, based on generally available toxicological information, the compound has the potential to cause an adverse effect as defined by the EPA at a Point of Impingement.

  • Licensed Compounds means: (a) Research Program Active Compounds; (b) Novartis Active Compounds; (c) salts, hydrates, solvates, esters, metabolites, intermediates, stereoisomers and polymorphs of Research Program Active Compounds or Novartis Active Compounds; and (d) prodrugs of Research Program Active Compounds or Novartis Active Compounds (any of the foregoing, a “Licensed Compound”).

  • Back-Up Compound means, with reference to any particular Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate, a Compound which (a) has the same principal mode of action (i.e., Potentiator or Corrector) as that Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate; and (b) was among the group of Compounds, identified by VERTEX as potential additional lead molecules having the same principal mode of action, from which the Development Candidate was selected.

  • Collaboration Patent Rights means Patent Rights claiming Collaboration Know-How.

  • Program Technology means Program Know-How and Program Patents.

  • Collaboration Product means a pharmaceutical product containing or comprising Compound in any dosage form alone, or in combination with, one or more other pharmaceutically active ingredients, and any and all Improvements thereto.

  • Exempt compound means the same as defined in Rule 2.

  • Diagnostic Product means any test or assay for diagnosing or detecting a disease, disorder, medical condition, or symptom.

  • Collaboration Target means the Initial Collaboration Targets set forth on Exhibit F and any Additional Target or Substitute Target that is selected in accordance with Section 3.3 of this Agreement.

  • Multi-Family means a single residential connection to the public water system’s distribution system from which two or more separate dwelling units are supplied water.

  • Collaboration Know-How means all Know-How conceived, discovered, developed or otherwise made by or on behalf of a particular Party or any of its Affiliates or permitted subcontractors of any of the foregoing (solely or jointly by or on behalf of a particular Party or any of its Affiliates or permitted subcontractors of any of the foregoing) in the course of [***].

  • High-technology activity means that term as defined in section 3 of the Michigan economic growth authority act, 1995 PA 24, MCL 207.803.

  • Collaboration Patents means any and all Patents that claim or cover any of the Collaboration Know-How.

  • Developed Technology means any Technology including, without limitation, any enhancements, substitutions or improvements to the Core Technology that is (a) discovered, developed or otherwise acquired by DURA pursuant to the terms of the Development Agreement or (b) otherwise acquired by or on behalf of Xxxxxx Corp. II during the term of the Development Agreement.

  • Licensor Technology means the Licensor Patents, the Licensor Know-How, Licensor Materials, and Non-Patent Rights Controlled by Licensor or its Affiliates embodied in Licensor Know-How or Licensor Materials.

  • Development Activity means any activity defined as Development which will necessitate a Floodplain Development Permit. This includes buildings, structures, and non-structural items, including (but not limited to) fill, bulkheads, piers, pools, docks, landings, ramps, and erosion control/stabilization measures.
