Compulsory Tournament definition

Compulsory Tournament means a game or tournament in which CONCACAF, FIFA or USSF requires MLS to participate.
Compulsory Tournament means a match or tournament in 48 which CONCACAF, FIFA or USSF requires the League (or a Club in the League) to 49 participate.

Examples of Compulsory Tournament in a sentence

  • If an MLS Team or MLS receives prize money by virtue of the Team’s performance and/or participation in a Compulsory Tournament or Non-Compulsory Tournament (other than the tournaments set forth above i.e., US Open Cup, Canadian Championship, CCL), Players competing in that tournament will receive the following: o If the Team or MLS receives prize money, fifty percent (50%) of such prize money up to a maximum payment to the Players (collectively) of $750,000 per tournament.

  • By way of example, if a Player was required to work for six 626 (6) days in January in connection with an exhibition match or Non- 627 Compulsory Tournament, the Player would be provided with his Base 628 Compensation for those six (6) days as if they took place during the 629 Standard Compensation Period.

  • If these requirements are met and the Club 2020 schedules exhibition matches or a tournament (other than x 2021 Compulsory Tournament) during this time period, Players may be 2022 required to report to training no earlier than five (5) days prior to 2023 the start of such matches.

  • If these requirements are met and the Club 2139 schedules exhibition matches or a tournament (other than a 2140 Compulsory Tournament) during this time period, Players may be 2141 required to report to training no earlier than five (5) days prior to 2142 the start of such matches.

  • By way of example, if a Player was required to work for six 630 (6) days in January in connection with an exhibition match or Non- 631 Compulsory Tournament, the Player would be provided with his Base 632 Compensation for those six (6) days as if they took place during the 633 Standard Compensation Period.

  • Compulsory License means a compulsory license under the Licensed Patents obtained by a Third Party through the order, decree, or grant of a governmental authority of competent jurisdiction, authorizing such Third Party to manufacture, use, sell, offer for sale or import a Competitive Product in one or more countries within the Territory.

  • Compulsory-school-age child means a child who has attained or will attain the age of six (6) years on or before September 1 of the calendar year and who has not attained the age of seventeen (17) years on or before September 1 of the calendar year; and shall include any child who has attained or will attain the age of five (5) years on or before September 1 and has enrolled in a full-day public school kindergarten program.   • Alcoholic beverage means a beverage that:

  • Retail Marijuana means all parts of the plant of the genus cannabis whether growing or not, the seeds thereof, the resin extracted from any part of the plant, and every compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of the plant, its seeds, or its resin, including but not limited to Retail Marijuana Concentrate, that is cultivated, manufactured, distributed, or sold by a licensed Retail Marijuana Business. “Retail Marijuana” does not include industrial hemp, nor does it include fiber produced from stalks, oil, or cake made from the seeds of the plant, sterilized seed of the plant which is incapable of germination, or the weight of any other Ingredient combined with marijuana to prepare topical or oral administrations, food, drink, or other product. If the context requires, Retail Marijuana includes Retail Marijuana Concentrate and Retail Marijuana Product.

  • Jewelry means any tangible personal property ordinarily wearable on the person and consisting in whole or in part of any metal, mineral or gem customarily regarded as precious or semi- precious.

  • Cannabis means all parts of the plant Cannabis sativa Linnaeus, Cannabis indica, or Cannabis ruderalis, whether growing or not; the seeds thereof; the resin, whether crude or purified, extracted from any part of the plant; and every compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of the plant, its seeds, or resin. “Cannabis” also means the separated resin, whether crude or purified, obtained from cannabis. “Cannabis” does not include the mature stalks of the plant, fiber produced from the stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of the plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of the mature stalks (except the resin extracted therefrom), fiber, oil, or cake, or the sterilized seed of the plant which is incapable of germination. For the purpose of this division, “cannabis” does not mean “industrial hemp” as defined by Section 11018.5 of the Health and Safety Code. Cannabis and the term “marijuana” may be used interchangeably.

  • Speech or language impairment means a communication disorder, such as stuttering, impaired articulation, a language impairment, or a voice impairment, that adversely affects a child’s educational performance.
