Constructability Review definition

Constructability Review means, the review of the design documents to ascertain whether the design of the Project as depicted in the Construction Documents, and the documents themselves: (i) accurately and completely reflects the District’s objectives as explained to the Architect by the District; (ii) are free of errors, omissions, conflicts or other deficiencies so that the Contractors can construct the Project as therein depicted without delays, disruptions, or additional costs.
Constructability Review. A process that integrates the contractor’s perspective into the Preconstruction Phase. By active involvement, the contractor lends its expertise and experience to the design in order to identify potential problems and constructability issues. Construction Management Plan (CMP): A compilation of various resources that the XXXX Contractor is required to submit to the PM. The plan needs to address project milestone dates and project schedule; investigations; alternate strategies for fast-tracking/phasing construction; listing of all work segments to be constructed under multiple GMPs; agreements with subcontractors and suppliers; permitting strategy; safety and training programs; quality control; security; and a matrix that summarizes each Project Team member’s responsibilities and roles.
Constructability Review means the review of the design documents to ascertain whether the design of the Project as depicted in the Construction Documents, and the documents themselves: (i) accurately and completely reflects the District’s objectives as explained to the Architect and Construction Manager by the District; and (ii) are free of errors, omissions, conflicts or other deficiencies so that the Contractor can construct the Project as therein depicted within the Project Budget and without delays, disruptions, or additional costs.

Examples of Constructability Review in a sentence

  • The final Constructability Review Report, including final Construction Cost Estimate, final Construction Schedule, and summary of resolved constructability issues shall be provided with the Phase C Submission.

  • From the approved Schematic Design documents, Consultant shall prepare and present in writing, and at oral presentations, if requested, for approval by City, separate Design Development Documents, updated Project Development Schedules, updated Statements of Probable Construction Costs and a review of Constructability Review reports.

  • Constructability Review shall be conducted on the 100% Design Development documents.

  • An acceptable and effective Constructability Review is a goal for the CM@Risk and the Owner.

  • If indicated in the Task Order for an Assigned Project, upon completion of the CM’s Value Engineering and Constructability Reviews for the Assigned Project, the CM shall prepare the Final Estimate of Construction Costs which shall reflect modifications to the Design Documents resulting from District accepted Value Engineering Recommendations and District accepted Constructability Review Comments for the Assigned Project.

Related to Constructability Review

  • Treatability study means a study in which a hazardous waste is subjected to a treatment process to determine: (1) Whether the waste is amenable to the treatment process, (2) what pretreatment (if any) is required, (3) the optimal process conditions needed to achieve the desired treatment, (4) the efficiency of a treatment process for a specific waste or wastes, or (5) the characteristics and volumes of residuals from a particular treatment process. Also included in this definition for the purpose of the § 261.4 (e) and (f) exemptions are liner compatibility, corrosion, and other material compatibility studies and toxicological and health effects studies. A “treatability study” is not a means to commercially treat or dispose of hazardous waste.

  • Improvement completion assurance means a surety bond, letter of credit,

  • Review Criteria has the meaning assigned to that term in Section 12.02(b)(i).

  • Utilization review plan or "plan" means a written procedure for performing review.

  • Energy efficiency improvement means equipment, devices, or materials intended to decrease energy consumption, including, but not limited to, all of the following:

  • Commissioning test means tests applied to a distributed generation facility by the applicant after construction is completed to verify that the facility does not create adverse system impacts and performs to the submitted specifications. At a minimum, the scope of the commissioning tests performed shall include the commissioning test specified in Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE) Standard 1547 Section 5.4 "Commissioning tests".

  • Performance Tests means the tests to be conducted on the equipment at site for checking the performance parameters of the equipment as defined in Technical Specification.

  • Stability (7) means the standard deviation (1 sigma) of the variation of a particular parameter from its calibrated value measured under stable temperature conditions. This can be expressed as a function of time.

  • S&P CDO Monitor Test A test that will be satisfied on any date of determination (following receipt, at any time on or after the S&P CDO Monitor Election Date, by the Issuer and the Collateral Administrator of the Class Break-even Default Rates for each S&P CDO Monitor input file (in accordance with the definition of “Class Break-even Default Rate”)) if, after giving effect to a proposed sale or purchase of an additional Collateral Obligation, the Class Default Differential of the Highest Ranking Class of the Proposed Portfolio is positive.   • Quality Improvement means a focus on activities to improve performance above minimum standards and reasonably expected levels of performance, quality and practice.

  • Penetration Testing means security testing in which assessors mimic real-world attacks to identify methods for circumventing the security features of an application, system, or network. (NIST SP 800-115)

  • Utilization review means the prospective (prior to), concurrent (during) or retrospective (after) review of any service to determine whether such service was properly authorized, constitutes a medically necessary service for purposes of benefit payment, and is a covered healthcare service under this plan.   • Baseline means the “Initial Small Business Lending Baseline” set forth on the Initial Supplemental Report (as defined in the Definitive Agreement), subject to adjustment pursuant to Section 3(a).

  • Internal test assessment means, but is not limited to, conducting those tests of quality assurance necessary to ensure the integrity of the test.

  • Performance Test means all operational checks and tests required to determine the performance parameters including inter-alia capacity, efficiency and operating characteristics of the Stores as specified in the Contract.
