The accuracy of the Construction Cost Budget shall be the responsibility of the Architect.
At that time, the Architect shall coordinate with the District and the Construction Manager to further develop, review, and reconcile the Construction Cost Budget.
Architect shall maintain cost controls throughout the Project to deliver the Project within the Construction Cost Budget.
The District and Construction Manager shall also have responsibility to develop, review, and reconcile the Construction Cost Budget with the Architect.
Along with the conditions identified in the preceding phases, Architect shall update and refine the Design Development Phase revisions to the Construction Cost Budget.

The estimates forming the basis of the Construction Cost Budget are to be based on the developed functional architectural programs as approved by the District.
The Construction Cost Budget does not include the compensation of the Architect and the Architect’s Consultants, the cost of land, rights-of-way, financing or other costs which are the responsibility of the District, including construction management.
