Contingent Event definition

Contingent Event means any one or more of the following events which shall occur subsequent to the date of this Debenture:
Contingent Event means litigation or a State state tax audit initiated
Contingent Event has the meaning set forth in Paragraph 2.2 (Schedule A).

Examples of Contingent Event in a sentence

  • The choices available for the Contingent Payment Elections are those specified in Section 4.1 except that the references to Retirement shall instead be the applicable Contingent Event if the event is death or Disability or the first day of the month of the Participant’s 55th birthday (or, if later, Termination of Employment) if the Contingent Event is Termination of Employment.

  • If the Participant has made neither a Contingent Payment Election nor a Primary Payment Election and a Contingent Event occurs prior to Retirement, the Payment Election shall be deemed to be a single lump sum upon the Participant’s Contingent Event, subject to the earliest payment date rules in Section 5.1.

  • Benefits under the Plan will be payable with respect to any vested Participant following Retirement or the occurrence of a Contingent Event to the extent a benefit under the Plan is determined to exist by calculations as provided under Section 3.3(a).

  • Unpredictable Contingent Event Benefits with respect to an Unpredictable Contingent Event occurring during a Plan Year shall not be paid if the AFTAP for the Plan Year is (i) less than 60%, or (ii) 60% or more, but would be less than 60% if the AFTAP were redetermined applying an actuarial assumption that the likelihood of occurrence of the Unpredictable Contingent Event during the Plan Year is 100%.

  • Contingent Event means the Participant’s Disability or death while employed by an Affiliate or Separation from Service for other reasons if such event occurs prior to the Participant’s Retirement.


More Definitions of Contingent Event

Contingent Event means circumstances under which the licensee has been required by the Secretary of State to increase the size of its security in respect of its Decommissioning Plan to account for the payment of VAT; “Decommissioning Plan” means the plan for the decommissioning of the transmission assets of the licensee as provided to Ofgem under [insert section] of the licensee’s ITT submission for the [insert project] and reflected in the ITT financial model submitted by the licensee for the[insert project].
Contingent Event means either:
Contingent Event has the meaning assigned to this term in the Credit Agreement.
Contingent Event means an event described in Section 8(e)(i)(a), (b) or (c).
Contingent Event means where the licensee has been required by the Secretary of State to increase the size of its security in respect of its decommissioning plan to account for the payment of VAT and/or the disallowance of scrap value allowed for under the decommissioning plan and reflected in the TRS bid at ITT;

Contingent Event means the licensee being required to undertake, or reserve against the costs of undertaking, decommissioning works which arise out of or in connection with any change required to be made to the licensee’s decommissioning plan submitted to the Department of Energy and Climate Change due to obligations pursuant to:(a) Part C of Schedule 8 of the agreement for transfer of the transmission assets between the licensee and Lincs Wind Farm Limited dated on or around the effective date of this licence; or(b) the Lincs Offshore Wind Farm Cable Zone Agreement between Lincs Wind Farm Limited and King’s Lynn Conservancy Board, novated to the licensee on or around the effective date of this licence; or(c) the Lincs Offshore Wind Farm Cable Zone Agreement between Lincs Wind Farm Limited and
