Contract or Contract Document definition

Contract or Contract Document means the written agreement executed by the Owner and Contractor setting forth the obligations of the parties, including but not limited to performance of the work, furnishing of labor, equipment and materials, and the basis of payment. It shall include but not necessarily be limited to the Request for Qualifications, Contractor’s Submittal, the Invitation for Bid, the Bid, the General Conditions of the Contract, Special Provisions, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Certificate of Insurance, Drawings, Specifications, Addenda, Minority Enterprise Business forms, written Change Orders, extra Work Orders, and Agreements required to complete the construction of the project, including authorized extensions thereof, in an acceptable manner, all of which constitute one instrument.
Contract or Contract Document means and include the agreement, the work order, the accepted appendices of rates, schedules of quantities, if any, General Terms & Conditions of the Contract, Special Conditions of the contract, Instructions to Bidders, drawings, technical specifications, the special specifications, if any, & the Letter of Intent / acceptance letter issued by BHEL. Any conditions or terms stipulated by the bidder in the tender documents or subsequent letters shall not form part of the contract unless specifically accepted in writing by BHEL in the letter of intent and incorporated in the Work Order.
Contract or Contract Document means and include guidelines and declarations of the registration, the General Terms & Conditions and Statutory Compliances, schedules of quantities, accepted appendices of rates, if any, technical specifications, special specifications, if any, Letter of Intent, agreement & the work order, issued by BHEL.Any conditions or terms stipulated by the bidder in the tender documents or subsequent letters shall not form part of the contract unless specifically accepted in writing by BHEL and incorporated in the work order.
