Cooperating sponsor definition

Cooperating sponsor means the foreign government, the U.S. registered voluntary agency, the American National Red Cross, or the intergovernmental or­ ganization, which enters into an agree­ ment with the U.S. Government for the use of agricultural commodities and/or funds (including local currencies), and which is directly responsible under the agreement for administration and imple­ mentation of and reporting on programs involving the use of the commodities and/or funds made available to meet the requirements of eligible recipients.
