County office means any officer, department, board, commission, agency, court, or other instrumentality of a county.
County officers means those county officers that are required by law to be
County officer 56032. "County officer" means a member of the board of
County of residence means the county in this state in which, at the time a person applies for or receives services, the person is living and has established an ongoing presence with the declared, good faith intention of living in the county for a permanent or indefinite period of time. The county of residence of a person who is a homeless person is the county where the homeless person usually sleeps. A person maintains residency in the county in which the person last resided while the person is present in another county receiving services in a hospital, a correctional facility, a halfway house for community-based corrections or substance-related treatment, a nursing facility, an intermediate care facility for persons with an intellectual disability, or a residential care facility, or for the purpose of attending a college or university. County means the county of Los Angeles or any public entities for which the board of supervisors is the governing body. (Ord. 2002-0040 § 1, 2002: Ord. 2002-0015 § 1 (part), 2002)
County clerk means the county clerk or the county official in charge of elections.
Offices wherever used in this lease, shall not be construed to mean premises used as a store or stores, for the sale or display, at any time of goods, wares or merchandise, of any kind, or as a restaurant, shop, booth, bootblack or other stand, xxxxxx shop, or for other similar purposes or for manufacturing. The term "Owner" means a landlord or lessor, and as used in this lease means only the owner, or the mortgagee in possession, for the time being of the land and building (or the owner of a lease of the building or of the land and the building) of which the demised premises form a part, so that in the event of any sale or sales of said land and building or of said lease, or in the event of a lease of said building, or of the land and building, the said Owner shall be and hereby is entirely freed and relieved of all covenants and obligation of Owner hereunder, and it shall be deemed and construed without further agreement between the parties or their successors in interest, or between the parties and the purchaser, at any such sale, or the said lessee of the building, or of the land and building, that the purchaser or the lessee of the building has assumed and agreed to carry out any and all covenants and obligations of Owner, hereunder. The words "re-enter" and "re-entry" as used in this lease are not restricted to their technical legal meaning. The term "business days" as used in this lease shall exclude Saturdays (except such portion thereof as is covered by specific hours in Article 29 hereof). Sundays and all days observed by the State or Federal Government as legal holidays and those designated as holidays by the applicable building service union employees service contract or by the applicable Operating Engineers contract with respect to HVAC service.
County highway means a public road that is constructed and
County Manager means the County Manager appointed by the County Council pursuant to the Luzerne County Charter;
Judicial office means the office filled by any judicial officer.
City means the City of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
sitting means, in relation to a House, a period during which that House is sitting continuously without adjournment, and includes any period during which the House is in committee;
County Counsel means County’s Office of the County Counsel.
Counties means, collectively, Macomb County, Oakland County and Wayne County.
Michigan film office means the office created under chapter 2A of the Michigan strategic fund act, 1984 PA 270, MCL 125.2029 to 125.2029g.
State office means state legislative office or the office of
County Auditor means the Greenville County Auditor, or the person holding any successor office of the County.
County Superintendent means the Executive County Superintendent of Schools designated by the Department of Education for this school district.
County board means a county board of developmental disabilities.
Federal office means the office of president of the United States, United States
County Attorney means the County Attorney of the County of Suffolk.
Cook means an employee who grills food on a salamander, stove, hot plate or barbecue type cooker and shall include preparing, frying or cooking fish or chicken or cooking pizzas.
Local office means the county, institution or district office of the department of human services.
County Executive means the County Executive of the County.
State officer means the attorney general, the state treasurer, the state auditor, and the executive director of each department.
Clerk means the clerk to the Trustees or any other person appointed to perform the duties of the clerk to the Trustees, including a joint, assistant or deputy clerk;
