Covered Peril definition

Covered Peril means any cause of direct physical loss or damage except those excluded under the terms of this “Memorandum.”
Covered Peril means one or more of the following perils:
Covered Peril means (i) United States wind (onshore and offshore, including the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean), (ii) European wind (onshore and offshore, including the North Sea), (iii) California earthquake, and (iv) Terrorism worldwide, and/or (v) such other Covered Perils as may be determined by the Company in its discretion for each six-month period commencing January 1 or July 1 and set forth by written endorsement hereto prior to such date.

Examples of Covered Peril in a sentence

  • The scheduled airline must certify the delay of regularly scheduled flight.Exclusion Applicable to B (e): In addition to General Exclusions listed in this Policy We shall not cover any delay due to any Covered Peril which was made public or known to You prior to the purchase of this Policy and for any departure which is delayed as a result of You or any other person who have arranged to travel with failing to check in correctly as required by the airlines.

  • The expenses for extraction will only be paid if they are reported to us in writing within 180 days from the date on which the Covered Peril occurs.

  • In addition to General Exclusions listed in this Policy We shall not cover any delay due to any Covered Peril which was made public or known to You prior to the purchase of this Policy and for any departure which is delayed as a result of You or any other person who have arranged to travel with failing to check in correctly as required by the airlines.

  • If your residence premises is uninhabitable as a result of public utility plants, transformers, switching stations or substations furnishing heat, light, power, or gas to your residence premises being damaged or destroyed by a Tangible Personal Property - Covered Peril, we cover necessary increases in living expenses incurred by you so your household can maintain its normal standard of living.

  • Note that a2g meets the complement of the interior of S0 in an arc I2g beginning at b2g and ending at c2g.

Related to Covered Peril

  • Covered Person means: (a) any officer, director, shareholder, partner, member, representative, employee or agent of (i) the Trust or (ii) the Trust's Affiliates; and (b) any Holder of Securities.

  • Covered Personnel means any Person who is or was an employee, consultant or independent contractor of the Covered Parties as of the date of the relevant act prohibited by this Section 2(a) or during the one (1) year period preceding such date.

  • Covered employment means employment in a covered position.

  • Covered Employer means the City of Cambridge or a Beneficiary of Assistance.

  • Insured Person s year” means a year from the date of commencement of the insured person’s policy, or from the anniversary date of the commencement of the insured person.

  • Covered Losses has the meaning set forth in Section 9.2(b).

  • Covered Employees means all employees and agents of the Company who are responsible for performing, supervising, overseeing, or managing activities related to the maintenance of online political files, as required by the Political Record- Keeping Statute and Rule.
