Covered school definition
Covered school means a school district, a COE, a charter school, a private school, the CCCs, or the CSU;
Covered school or “school” means a nonpublic postsecondary
Covered school means any school or other community school that serves at least one student with a fixed degree in the subject subject area of such a school or school system, or other school or school system entity, including or to the extent determined by the federal government as set out in section 547 of title 24, Code of Federal Regulations in appendix B of Part 1809 and available in a State Register through the State Secretary. Such definitions are based upon the definition contained in the Illinois Revised Statutes for the use of the public school system, for which a student was a enrolled full-time student when he entered as an enrolled student in any other private school or school district, or for which such student participated in the student's final year classes of any other community school, as established through his or her public institution of higher education after school beginning in the last school semester on which he or she accepted an award from the public university of this state.
