Credit Card Association definition

Credit Card Association means Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or JCB.
Credit Card Association means any of (i) Visa; (ii) MasterCard; (iii) American Express; (iv) Discover; (v) Diners Club International Ltd.; (vi) JCB International Co., Ltd.; (vii) China UnionPay Co., Ltd; and (viii) any other organization or association that hereafter contracts with ARC to authorize, capture, and settle Transactions effected with credit cards issued or sponsored by such organization or association, and any successor organization or association to any of the foregoing.
Credit Card Association for purposes of this Agreement means Visa U.S.A., Inc., Visa International, Inc., MasterCard International, Inc., and any other credit or debit card issuing company.

  • If your transaction volume exceeds $100,000 per year or you are deemed to be a commercial entity under the Network Rules, the Networks and our Processor(s) require that you agree to the additional terms and conditions between you and the Processor(s) under the Credit Card Association Agreement below.

  • Sections D through H will survive any termination of this Credit Card Association Agreement.

  • All filings required pursuant to Section 8.1 shall have been made, and all approvals required pursuant to Section 8.1 shall have been received, and neither the Bank nor NOVA shall have received any objection of any kind from a Credit Card Association either in response to the filings required under Section 8.1 or otherwise.

  • If Company accepts both Visa and MasterCard-branded Credit Cards or signature Debit Cards for Eligible Transactions, Company will comply with the most restrictive of these Credit Card Association requirements for all Transactions so as not to discriminate among different Payment Devices or Payment Networks.

  • The terms of this Credit Card Association Agreement are separate and in addition to the terms of the User Agreement.

  • All material filings required or desirable pursuant to Section 8.1 shall have been made, and all material required or desirable approvals shall have been received, and neither Seller nor Purchaser shall have received any material objection from a Credit Card Association, EFT Network or EBT Network (as applicable) either in response to the filings required under Section 8.1 or otherwise.

  • Card Association means Mastercard, Visa, Interac Association, or any other credit or debit card association or network whose cards are accepted by the Servicers for processing.

  • Credit Card Guidelines means the respective policies and procedures of the Account Owner, as the case may be, as such policies and procedures may be amended from time to time, (a) relating to the operation of its credit card business, which generally are applicable to its portfolio of revolving credit card accounts and in each case which are consistent with prudent practice, including the policies and procedures for determining the creditworthiness of credit card customers and the extension of credit to credit card customers, and (b) relating to the maintenance of revolving credit card accounts and collection of credit card receivables.

  • Credit Card Account means the Account of the Cardmember opened with Maybank for the purpose of this Agreement;

  • Credit Card Agreement means the open-end revolving credit agreement between a Cardholder and Bank governing the Account and Cardholder’s use of the Credit Card, together with any modifications or amendments which may be made to such agreement.

  • Credit Card Issuer means any Person (other than a Loan Party) who issues or whose members issue credit cards or debit cards, including, without limitation, MasterCard or VISA bank credit or debit cards or other bank credit or debit cards issued through MasterCard International, Inc., Visa, U.S.A., Inc. or Visa International and American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Xxxxx Xxxxxxx and other non-bank credit or debit cards, including, without limitation, credit or debit cards issued by or through American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. or Discover Financial Services, Inc.

  • Credit Card Notification has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 5.11.

  • Credit card means any card, plate, coupon book, or other credit device ex- isting for the purpose of obtaining money, property, labor, or services on credit.

  • Credit Card Agreements means all agreements now or hereafter entered into by any Borrower or for the benefit of any Borrower, in each case with any Credit Card Issuer or any Credit Card Processor with respect to sales transactions involving credit card or debit card purchases, including, but not limited to, the agreements set forth on Schedule 5.21(b) hereto.

  • Credit Card Notifications has the meaning provided in Section 6.13(a)(i).

  • Primary Cardholder means the person who applied for a Card, whose name is on the Account and who a Card is issued to. Purchase means any Transaction other than a Cash Advance.

  • Credit Card Processor means any servicing or processing agent or any factor or financial intermediary who facilitates, services, processes or manages the credit authorization, billing transfer and/or payment procedures with respect to any Loan Party’s sales transactions involving credit card or debit card purchases by customers using credit cards or debit cards issued by any Credit Card Issuer.

  • Merchant means any corporate entity, person or other establishment, supplying goods and/or services, which a Card Scheme Member Bank has approved and made arrangements to accept the Card or the Card numbers as a mode of payment or reservation by the Cardholder.

  • Card Account means the account maintained with the Bank in respect of the card;

  • Private label credit card means any charge card, credit card, or other instrument serving a similar purpose that carries, refers to, or is branded with the name or logo of a vendor and that can only be used for purchases from the vendor.

  • Credit Card Advance Rate means 90%.

  • Financial Services Provider means any Lender and any other provider of financial services or products;

  • Trade association means an entity recognized by the State in which the entity is doing business as a trade association and shall not include an organization that is formed for the purposes of providing insurance. “Transaction cutoff date” for weekly data reporting is 8 p.m. Central time on Friday of each week and for monthly data reporting is 8 p.m. Central time on Friday after the first Sunday of the month.

  • Card Issuer means the financial institution or company which has provided a Card to a Cardholder.

  • MasterCard means MasterCard International Incorporated.

  • Additional Cardholder means the person you have authorised to use a prepaid card connected to your account, who you agree is authorised to undertake transactions on your behalf and who is also subject to these terms and conditions

  • Supplementary Cardholder means the person who has been issued a Supplementary Card.

  • Cardholder means a person authorized to use a Card.

  • Approved Book-Entry System for Commercial Paper means a system maintained by the Custodian or by a subcustodian employed pursuant to Section 2 hereof for the holding of commercial paper in book-entry form but only if the Custodian has received a certified copy of a resolution of the Board approving the participation by the Trust in such system.

  • Cardholder(s) persons authorized to use Association or Network branded cards.

  • Banking Services Provider means any Lender (other than a Defaulting Lender) or Affiliate of a Lender (other than a Defaulting Lender) that provides Banking Services to any Credit Party.
