Credit Repair shall bear the meaning set out in Notice 169 published in terms of the Consumer Affairs Act, 71 of 1988 (published in Government Gazette No. 18646);
Credit Repair means services or goods that are intended to improve a consumer report, credit information, file or personal information, including a credit record, credit history or credit rating; (“redressement de crédit”)
Credit Repair means the activities of a credit repairer; (“redressement de crédit”)

Credit Repair. Credit repair is the process of improving creditworthiness with creditors. The companies or agencies that help to legally clean-up bad credit information in order to give a fresh start to the consumers are known as credit repair companies/agencies or credit clinics.
