Critical drainage area means an area contemplated in Chapter 7;

Critical drainage area means an area which has been formally determined by the Public Works Department to require more restrictive regulation than City-wide standards afford, in order to mitigate severe flooding, drainage, erosion or sedimentation problems, which have resulted or will result from the cumulative impacts of development and urbanization.
