Criticized Asset definition

Criticized Asset means any Classified Asset and any other loan or lease asset of Eldorado with a rating of "5", "6", "7" or "8" on the books and records of Eldorado in accordance with Eldorado's loan rating policy, consistently applied in accordance with the FDIC Rules and Guidelines as described in the rules and regulations promulgated by the FDIC.

Criticized Asset means any Classified Asset and any other loan or lease asset of the applicable Party classified on the books and records of the applicable Party as Other Loans Especially Mentioned, Special Mention, Classified, Criticized, Credit Risk Assets, Concerned Loans or by words of similar import.

Examples of Criticized Asset in a sentence

  • To Eldorado's Knowledge, none of the counterparties to any contract or agreement with respect to any such instrument is in default with respect to such contract or agreement and no such contract or agreement, were it to be a loan held by Eldorado, would be a Criticized Asset.

  • The reduction of any particular Criticized Asset may be effected by, among other things, a substantial collection of principal balance owed, enhancement of collateral, guarantees or other factors contributing to the quality of the asset, or a write-down of the Criticized Asset.
