Crown Indemnity definition

Crown Indemnity means the “deed of indemnity for and on behalf of the Crown in right of the State of NSW” provided by the NSW Government to assist councils to secure a commercial bank loan (conditional on Treasury’s analysis and approval upon application). Date of this Agreement means the date shown on the Execution Page or if it is not dated the date the OLG signs this Agreement.

Examples of Crown Indemnity in a sentence

  • As an employee of the Trust, you will be indemnified through the Crown Indemnity Scheme.

  • Each partner (if not covered by Crown Indemnity) should strongly consider having indemnities for claims, losses, liability or costs suffered as a consequence of any information being wrongly disclosed, or as a result of any negligent act, or omission by any other partner.

  • The Contracting Authority(s) does not rely on Crown Indemnity and appropriate insurance cover must be included in the hire agreement.
