Cultivation of cannabis definition

Cultivation of cannabis means the planting, growing, harvesting, drying or processing at a cultivation site of cannabis plants or any part thereof.
Cultivation of cannabis means any activity involving the planting, growing, harvesting, drying, curing, grading, or trimming or processing of cannabis.

  • Cultivation of cannabis for personal use is limited to parcels with a residence and a full-time resident on the premises where the cultivation is occurring.

For the purpose of this division, “cannabis” does not mean “industrial hemp” as defined by Section 11018.5 of the Health and Safety Code. Cannabis and the term “marijuana” may be used interchangeably.
