Customer Port means the provision of a physical connection into the Interoute’s IP network that is dedicated solely for the use of the Customer and exchange of Customer traffic.

Examples of Customer Port in a sentence

  • Unless specifically stated otherwise, all references to Customer Port Connections or ports in Subsections (1) and (2), below, shall be deemed to refer to Basic Ports and PPCOS Ports, respectively, and all references to Customer Port Connections or ports in other sections of this tariff shall be deemed to refer to both Basic Ports and PPCOS Ports.

  • Network unavailability shall exist when (i) a particular Customer Port is unable to transmit IP data packets from such Customer Port to the Public Internet via the ViaWest Network and (ii) such failure is recorded in ViaWest’s trouble ticket system.

  • An example of such a downgrade would be a change from a 1 Gbps to 100 Mbps Customer Port Connection.

  • AT&T Switched Ethernet ServiceSM is available in two serving arrangements and two types of Customer Port Connections - the Basic Service Arrangement and Basic Ports described in subsection (1), below, and the Per Packet Class of Service Arrangement and PPCOS Ports described in subsection (2), below.

  • Network connection unavailability shall exist when (a) due to a failure of Customer’s network connection(s) (i.e., cross connects provided by ViaWest), a particular Customer Port is unable to transmit data from the ViaWest network connection(s) and (b) such failure is recorded in ViaWest’s trouble ticket system.

  • Planned Outages may be required on the Interoute IP Network and the Customer Port, including associated hardware and/or software for scheduled network maintenance and upgrade activities.

  • An example of such upgrade would be a change from a 1 Gbps to a 10 Gbps Customer Port Connection.
