Daily Overtime definition

Daily Overtime means premium pay at one and one-half (1-1/2) times regular pay rates for time actually worked beyond eight (8) straight-time hours or more in a workday (for example, daily overtime would apply after ten (10) straight-time hours of actual work for a normal workday of 10 hours).
Daily Overtime. If an employee makes him- self available for work for a minimum of eight hours a day every day of the week (except for a holiday covered by this agreement,or for vacation periods approved by the company)and is by the Company from workingon any of those days throughno fault of his own, the Company will pay time and one-half for time in excess of eight hours a day worked during that workweek.
Daily Overtime means any overtime available on the same day on a regularly scheduled shift during the work week and “Extra Weekly Overtime” means overtime available on a weekend and outside of the work week. Daily Overtime will be offered in the following manner:

Examples of Daily Overtime in a sentence

  • Daily Overtime - If an employee is booked off for TWU business for the entire day, the employee will be paid his/her regular day's pay.

  • Daily Overtime rates are time and one-half the regular rate for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) in the day, and double the regular rate for all hours in excess of eleven (11) in the day.

  • Crisis Specialists and Behavioral Health Care Assistants Daily Overtime Crisis Specialists and Behavioral Health Care Assistants shall be paid overtime for hours worked beyond their scheduled shift.

  • New employees will not be required to work Daily Overtime for the first thirty (30) calendar days of their probationary period.

  • Daily Overtime List A list compiled upon completion of morning roll call by the most senior company officer working identifying on-duty employees covered by the bargaining agreement who are available to work overtime, beginning at 0700, the following calendar day in the event coverage is needed for minimum staffing.

  • If the flexible schedule would impact the daily overtime language set forth in Section 9.1.1, the employee may agree to waive his/her contractual right to overtime after the employee’s regularly scheduled shift by signing the Voluntary Waiver of Daily Overtime form as set forth in Appendix E.

  • Compounded Daily SONIA means, with respect to an Interest Accrual Period, the rate of return of a daily compound interest investment (with the daily SONIA reference rate as reference rate for the calculation of interest) and will be calculated by the Calculation Agent (or such other party responsible for the calculation of the interest rate, as specified in the applicable Pricing Supplement) on the relevant Interest Determination Date, as follows, and the resulting percentage will be rounded if necessary to the fourth decimal place, with 0.00005 per cent being rounded upwards:

  • Average Monthly Compensation means the quotient determined by dividing the sum of the Employee’s then current Base Salary (as defined in Section 4.1 hereof) and the greater of the most recently paid Incentive Compensation (as defined in Section 4.2 hereof) or the average of Incentive Compensation paid over the three most recent years by twelve.

  • Average Daily Availability means the average daily Availability for the immediately preceding Fiscal Quarter.

  • Highest Average Compensation means the average Compensation for the three (3) consecutive years of Service with the Employer that produces the highest average. A Year of Service with the Employer is the twelve (12) consecutive month period identical to the Plan Year.

  • Compounded Daily SOFR means, in relation to a Floating Rate Interest Period, the rate of return of a daily compound interest investment (with SOFR as reference rate for the calculation of interest) during the related Observation Period and will be calculated by the Calculation Agent on the related Interest Determination Date as follows: Where:

  • Compounded Daily XXXXX means the rate of return of a daily compound interest investment (with the daily Sterling overnight reference rate as reference rate for the calculation of interest) and will be calculated by the Interest Determination Agent as at the Interest Determination Date, as follows, and the resulting percentage will be rounded if necessary to the fourth decimal place, with 0.00005 being rounded upwards: where:

  • Average weekly discharge limitation means the highest allowable average of "daily discharges'' over a calendar week, calculated as the sum of all "daily discharges'' measured during a calendar week divided by the number of "daily discharges'' measured during that week. Each of the following 7-day periods is defined as a calendar week: Week 1 is Days 1 - 7 of the month; Week 2 is Days 8 - 14; Week 3 is Days 15 - 21; and Week 4 is Days 22 - 28. If the "daily discharge" on days 29, 30 or 31 exceeds the "average weekly" discharge limitation, Ohio EPA may elect to evaluate the last 7 days of the month as Week 4 instead of Days 22 - 28. Compliance with fecal coliform bacteria or E coli bacteria limitations shall be determined using the geometric mean.

  • Peak flow rate means the maximum instantaneous flow from a given storm condition at a particular location.

  • Total Debt Service means the sum of (i) scheduled or other required payments of principal on Indebtedness, and (ii) Interest Expense, in each case for such period.

  • STIPULATED HOURS OF SERVICE PER DAY means hours of duty per day, normal hours/timings of duty whereof shall be determined by the Company's Engineer for which fixed charge shall be payable.

  • Compounded Daily €STR means, with respect to any Interest Period, the rate of return of a daily compound interest investment (with the daily euro short-term rate as reference rate for the calculation of interest) as calculated by the Calculation Agent as at the relevant Interest Determination Date in accordance with the following formula (and the resulting percentage will be rounded if necessary to the nearest fifth decimal place, with 0.000005 being rounded upwards):

  • Average Daily Flow means the cumulative total sewage flow to the sewage works during a calendar year divided by the number of days during which sewage was flowing to the sewage works that year;

  • Average Compensation means the average of your W-2 wages from the Company for the five (5) calendar years completed immediately prior to the calendar year in which the Change in Control is effected. Any W-2 wages for a partial year of employment will be annualized, in accordance with the frequency which such wages are paid during such partial year, before inclusion in Average Compensation.

  • Annual Debt Service as of any date means the maximum amount which is expensed in any 12-month period for interest on Debt of the Company and its Subsidiaries, excluding amortization of debt discounts and deferred financing costs.

  • Maximum Daily Limit means the maximum allowable "Daily Concentration" (defined above) when expressed as a concentration (e.g. mg/l), otherwise, it means the maximum allowable "Daily Quantity" as defined above, unless it is expressed as a flow quantity. If expressed as a flow quantity it means "Maximum Daily Flow" as defined in Section 22a-430-3(a) of the RCSA.

  • Average daily attendance or "ADA" means actual average daily

  • Final Average Compensation means the aggregate amount of a member's compensation earned within the averaging period in which the aggregate amount of compensation was highest divided by the member's number of years, including any fraction of a year, of credited service during the averaging period. The averaging period shall be 36 consecutive calendar months if the member contributes to the member investment plan except for a member who contributes to the member investment plan and first became a member on or after July 1, 2010; otherwise, the averaging period shall be 60 consecutive calendar months. A member who contributes to the member investment plan and first became a member on or after July 1, 2010 shall also have an averaging period of 60 consecutive calendar months. If the member has less than 1 year of credited service in the averaging period, the number of consecutive calendar months in the averaging period shall be increased to the lowest number of consecutive calendar months that contains 1 year of credited service.

  • Average monthly discharge limitation means the highest allowable average of "daily discharges" over a calendar month, calculated as the sum of all "daily discharges" measured during a calendar month divided by the number of "daily discharges" measured during that month. Compliance with fecal coliform bacteria or E coli bacteria limitations shall be determined using the geometric mean.

  • Recurring Revenue With respect to any Recurring Revenue Loan, the meaning of “Recurring Revenue” or any comparable definition in the related Underlying Instruments relating to recurring maintenance or support revenues, subscription revenues, and recurring revenues attributable to software licensed or sold (excluding one-time license revenues) in the Underlying Instruments for such Loan.

  • Annual Percentage Rate or “APR” of a Receivable means the annual percentage rate of finance charges or service charges, as stated in the related Contract.
