Damages from Certain Causes. Landlord shall not be liable or responsible to Tenant for any loss or damage to any property or person occasioned by theft, fire, act of God, public enemy, riot, strike, insurrection, war, act or omission of any party other than Landlord, any nuisance or interference caused or created by any property owner other than Landlord, requisition or order of governmental body or authority, court order or injunction, or any cause beyond Landlord’s control or for any damage or inconvenience which may arise through repair or alteration of any part of the Premises as required by this Lease.
Damages from Certain Causes. To the extent not expressly prohibited by law, Landlord shall not be liable to Tenant or Tenant’s employees, contractors, agents, invitees or customers, for any injury to person or damage to property sustained by Tenant or any such party or any other person claiming through Tenant resulting from any accident or occurrence in the Premises or any other portion of the Building caused by the Premises or any other portion of the Building becoming out of repair or by defect in or failure of equipment, pipes, or wiring, or by broken glass, or by the backing up of drains, or by gas, water, steam, electricity, or oil leaking, escaping or flowing into the Premises (except where due to Landlord’s willful failure to make repairs required to be made pursuant to other provisions of this Lease, after the expiration of a reasonable time after written notice to Landlord of the need for such repairs), nor shall Landlord be liable to Tenant for any loss or damage that may be occasioned by or through the acts or omissions of other tenants of the Building or of any other persons whomsoever, including, but not limited to riot, strike, insurrection, war, court order, requisition, order of any governmental body or authority, acts of God, fire or theft.
Damages from Certain Causes. Landlord shall not be liable to Tenant for any loss or damage to any property, or injury to or death of any person, occasioned by theft, fire, act of God or the public enemy, injunction, riot, strike, insurrection, war, requisition or order of governmental body or authority or any other cause beyond the control of Landlord.
Damages from Certain Causes. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING CONTAINED IN THIS LEASE TO THE CONTRARY, AND SUBJECT TO THE TERMS OF SECTION 9 AND SECTION 23, NEITHER LANDLORD NOR ANY LANDLORD RELATED PARTY SHALL BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES TO TENANT OR ANY PARTY CLAIMING THROUGH TENANT FOR ANY INJURY TO OR DEATH OF ANY PERSON OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR FOR INTERRUPTION OR DAMAGE TO BUSINESS RESULTING FROM ANY OF THE FOLLOWING REASONS: (a) ANY ACT, OMISSION OR NEGLIGENCE OF TENANT OR TENANT’S EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, OFFICERS, SUBTENANTS, ASSIGNEES, LICENSEES, INVITEES OR CUSTOMERS; (b) ANY ACT, OMISSION OR NEGLIGENCE OF ANY OTHER TENANT WITHIN THE BUILDING, OR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, TENANTS, ASSIGNEES, LICENSEES, INVITEES OR CUSTOMERS; (c) THE REPAIR, ALTERATION, MAINTENANCE, DAMAGE OR DESTRUCTION OF THE PREMISES OR ANY OTHER PORTION OF THE BUILDING (INCLUDING THE CONSTRUCTION OF LEASEHOLD IMPROVEMENTS FOR OTHER TENANTS OF THE BUILDING), EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT OF LANDLORD OR ANY LANDLORD RELATED PARTY; (d) VANDALISM, THEFT, BURGLARY AND OTHER CRIMINAL ACTS (OTHER THAN THOSE COMMITTED BY LANDLORD’S EMPLOYEES); (e) ANY DEFECT IN OR FAILURE OF EQUIPMENT, PIPES, WIRING, HEATING OR AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT, STAIRS, ELEVATORS, OR SIDEWALKS, THE BURSTING OF ANY PIPES OR THE LEAKING, ESCAPING OR FLOWING OF GAS, WATER, STEAM, ELECTRICITY, OR OIL, BROKEN GLASS, OR THE BACKING UP OF ANY DRAINS, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT OF LANDLORD OR ANY LANDLORD RELATED PARTY; (f) INJURY DONE OR OCCASIONED BY WIND, SNOW, RAIN OR ICE, FIRE, ACT OF GOD, PUBLIC ENEMY, INJUNCTION, RIOT, STRIKE, INSURRECTION, WAR, COURT ORDER, REQUISITION, ORDER OF ANY GOVERNMENTAL BODY OR AUTHORITY, OR (g) ANY OTHER CAUSE BEYOND THE REASONABLE CONTROL OF LANDLORD. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL LANDLORD BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES RELATED TO BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OR LOSS OF PROFITS. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION 26 SHALL NOT LIMIT THE OBLIGATIONS OF LANDLORD OR THE RIGHTS OF TENANT UNDER THIS LEASE NOT INVOLVING A CLAIM FOR DAMAGES.
Damages from Certain Causes. Except as provided in Section 3.1, Section 6.3 and/or Section 6.6, and subject to Landlord’s obligations to restore, repair and maintain as specifically provided in this Lease, Landlord shall not be liable or responsible to Tenant for any loss or damage to any property or person if, and to the extent, occasioned by one or more Force Majeure Events.

Landlord shall not be liable or responsible to Tenant for any loss or damage to any property or person occasioned by theft, fire, act of God, public enemy, riot, strike, insurrection, war, act or omission of any tenant or occupant of the Building, any nuisance or interference caused or created by any tenant or occupant of the Building, requisition or order of governmental body or authority, court order or injunction, or any cause beyond Landlord’s control or, except in the case of the gross negligence or intentional misconduct of Landlord, for any damage or inconvenience which may arise through repair or alteration of any part of the Building. Tenant shall notify Landlord of any damage to the Leased Premises, regardless of the cause of such damage.
Damages from Certain Causes. Except to the extent caused --------------------------- by that Protected Party, none of the Protected Parties shall ever be liable or responsible to Tenant, or any person claiming through Tenant, for any loss, injury to person, or damage to property in, upon, or about the Premises or any other portion of the Project resulting from (a) theft, fire, casualty, vandalism, acts of God, public enemy, injunction, riot, strike, inability to procure materials, insurrection, war, court order, requisition, or order of any governmental body or authority; (b) the acts or omissions of other tenants of the Project; (c) any other causes beyond Landlord's control; or (d) any damage or inconvenience which may arise through repair or alteration of the Project. All goods, property, or personal effects stored or placed by Tenant in or about the Project shall be at the sole risk of Tenant.
Damages from Certain Causes. Landlord and Landlord's agents and employees shall not be liable or responsible to Tenant or any person claiming through Tenant for any loss or damage or injury to business or to any property or person in, upon or about the Leased Premises or any other portion of the Building arising at any time from any cause, negligent or otherwise, other than solely by reason of the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Landlord or of Landlord's employees or agents acting within the scope of their employment or authority.
Damages from Certain Causes. Landlord shall not be liable or responsible to Tenant for any loss or damage to any property or person occasioned by theft, fire, casualty, vandalism, acts of God, public enemy, injunction, riot, strike, inability to procure materials, insurrection, war, court order, requisition or order of governmental body or authority, or for any other causes beyond Landlord's reasonable control, or for any damage or inconvenience which may arise through repair or alteration of the Leased Premises, the Project, or the Complex. All goods, property or personal effects stored or placed by Tenant in or about the Complex shall be at the sole risk of Tenant.
Damages from Certain Causes. Landlord shall not be liable or responsible to Tenant for (i) any loss or damage to any property or person occasioned by any cause beyond Landlord’s control (“Force Majeure”), including without limitation, theft, fire, act of God, public enemy, terrorist act, injunction, riot, strike, insurrection, war, court order, requisition or order of governmental body or authority (including any failure by any such governmental body or authority to issue any permits necessary for alterations to and/or occupancy of the Premises and/or Building), or (ii) any damage or inconvenience which may arise through repair or alteration of any part of the Building made necessary by virtue of any such Force Majeure event. The terms and provisions of this Section 6.2 shall survive the expiration or termination of this Lease.
