Dark Archive definition

Dark Archive means that access to content is limited to organizational custodians.
Dark Archive means the aggregation of Licensed Electronic Products provided by Wiley to the Dark Archive Responsible Entity (as defined below) for access by the Member Institutions and their Authorized Users solely in the event of a Trigger Event (as defined below).

  • The specific mechanisms for depositing Articles, making Articles bright, and any appeals process shall be set forth in an agreement directly between Publisher Member and the Dark Archive, based on the Dark Archive’s form agreement with publishers.

  • Wiley grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable right and license to access, via the Local Hosting Network, the Licensed Electronic Products in the Dark Archive, under strictly-controlled circumstances and governed by the terms and conditions of use of the Licensed Electronic Products as provided in the Agreement.

  • Dark Archive access authentication will be for those Consortium members who have licensed content from Licensed Electronic Products on a perpetual basis, according to the provisions of the Agreement.

  • This and the following workflow steps will only be completed by Mike, Nancy, or other staff with access to the Deep Blue deposit folder and the BHL Dark Archive.

  • Access to the Dark Archive is contingent on the occurrence of specified trigger events which would prevent the Publisher from providing access to the Licensed Materials.

  • The Licensee’s or its agent’s local hosting facilities under the Licensee’s control to store in a Dark Archive Xxxxx’x Licensed Electronic Products for access by the Licensee and its Authorized Users via the Licensee’s Secure Network but only as provided herein.

  • Archives means the archives of Michigan.

  • State archives means the Division of Archives and Records Service created in Section 63A-12-101.

  • Database Management System (DBMS) A system of manual procedures and computer programs used to create, store and update the data required to provide Selective Routing and/or Automatic Location Identification for 911 systems. Day: A calendar day unless otherwise specified. Dedicated Transport: UNE transmission path between one of CenturyLink’s Wire Centers or switches and another of CenturyLink’s Wire Centers or switches within the same LATA and State that are dedicated to a particular customer or carrier. Default: A Party’s violation of any material term or condition of the Agreement, or refusal or failure in any material respect to properly perform its obligations under this Agreement, including the failure to make any undisputed payment when due.   • Cabinet x-ray system means an x-ray system with the x-ray tube installed in an enclosure independent of existing architectural structures except the floor on which it may be placed. The cabinet x-ray system is intended to contain at least that portion of a material being irradiated, provide radiation attenuation, and exclude personnel from its interior during generation of radiation. Included are all x-ray systems designed primarily for the inspection of carry-on baggage at airline, railroad, and bus terminals, and in similar facilities. An x-ray tube used within a shielded part of a building, or x-ray equipment that may temporarily or occasionally incorporate portable shielding, is not considered a cabinet x-ray system.

  • Service Management System (SMS) means an off-line system used to access, create, modify, or update information in a Database.

  • Host means any plant or plant product upon which a plant pest is dependent for completion of any portion of its life cycle.
