Data Protection Breach definition

Data Protection Breach means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorized disclosure or access to Personal Data processed for the purposes of this DPA.
Data Protection Breach means any actual or alleged breach of legislation, or any provisions, rules or regulations regarding data protection and privacy laws of any Third Party by any Insured.

Examples of Data Protection Breach in a sentence

  • Such notice to the other party shall include reasonable details of the Personal Data Breach including without limitation: (i) a description of the Personal Data Breach; (ii) likely consequences of the Personal Data Breach; (iii) the number of Data Subjects affected, number of records affected and the types of records affected; and (iv) the measures taken or proposed to be taken to address the Data Protection Breach, including measures to mitigate possible adverse effects.

  • Unify shall take the appropriate Technical and Organizational Measures (TOMs), as laid out in Annex 1 to this DPA, designed to protect Customer’s Personal Data against misuse and loss, or against any other Data Protection Breach in accordance with the applicable Data Protection Laws.

  • Upon notification by Unify or Partner about a Data Protection Breach Customer shall comply with any Data Protection Breach notification duties resulting from applicable Data Protection requirements.

  • In context of article 4.1.8, in the event of a Data Protection Breach, Unify shall assist Customer and provide all necessary information it has access to in order to permit Customer to comply with its obligations.

  • Where imposed by the applicable Da- ta Protection Law, Customer is responsible for the notification of Data Protection Breach to the Data Subjects and the Data Protection Authorities.

  • Unify shall take the appropriate Technical and Organizational Measures (TOMs), as laid out in An- nex 1 to this DPA, designed to protect Customer's Personal Data against misuse and loss, or against any other Data Protection Breach in accordance with the applicable Data Protection Laws.

  • We will not be responsible for any errors or failures from any malfunction of your computer, or any computer virus or other problems related to your computer equipment used with our Services.

  • In the event of a Personal Data Breach (i.e. it becoming apparent that you have lost ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Data or an unauthorised third party may have had access to it) you shall notify ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ without undue delay after having become aware of it, in particular having regard to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Data Protection Breach Policy.

  • Customer shall comply with any Data Protection Breach notification duties resulting from applicable Data Protection requirements.

  • Upon request from the Customer, Tresorit shall assist the Customer with the handling of the Data Protection Breach as well as in connection with potentially reporting the matter to the relevant data protection authority under Applicable Law.
