Database Cleansing definition

Database Cleansing means any activity which involves the processing of an End-User Database or Customer Database using the Data and includes:
Database Cleansing means any activity which involves the processing of a Client Database using the Data and includes; - the verification of an existing Record in the Client Database as being the same as the entry of the Data; - the amendment of an existing Record in the Client Database to correct the address so that it contains the same information as the entry on the Data; - the standardisation of an existing Record in the Client Database into a “PAF format”; - the flagging or marking of an existing Record in the Client Database as being the same as the Data; - adding further information derived from the Data to an existing Record in the Client Database; and - extracting duplicate existing Records in the Client Database; - but does not include Data Creation;

Examples of Database Cleansing in a sentence

  • You may use the Product for Database Cleansing of End-User Databases but may only use Cleansed End-User Databases for your own internal use and in each case subject to this Schedule.

  • For the purposes of this Schedule a Special Product shall include: Look Up Solutions External Transaction Solutions Extended Use Solutions Associate Group Solutions Broker Group Solutions Database Cleansing of Customer Databases and Bureau Services If the Client wishes to purchase a Special Product from GB Group then the provisions of the “SCHEDULE RELATING TO ROYAL MAIL’S SPECIAL PRODUCTS” shall apply, in addition to the other terms and conditions of this Agreement.

  • Database Management System (DBMS) A system of manual procedures and computer programs used to create, store and update the data required to provide Selective Routing and/or Automatic Location Identification for 911 systems. Day: A calendar day unless otherwise specified.   • Database Management System (“DBMS”) is a computer process used to store, sort, manipulate and update the data required to provide Selective Routing and ALI.

  • Healing arts screening means the testing of human beings using x-ray machines for the detection or evaluation of health indications when such tests are not specifically and individually ordered by a licensed practitioner of the healing arts legally authorized to prescribe such x-ray tests for the purpose of diagnosis or treatment.

  • APIs means SAP application programming interface and accompanying or related Documentation, source code, tools, executable applications, libraries, subroutines, widgets and other materials made available by SAP or through SAP tools or SAP Software Development Kit (and all derivative works or modifications thereof) to Provider that allow Provider to integrate the Provider Service with the Cloud Service, including any access code, authentication keys or similar mechanisms to enable access of the APIs.
