DBS certificate definition

DBS certificate. (“tystysgrif GDG”) means a certificate of a type referred to in paragraph 2 or 3 of Schedule 1;
DBS certificate. (“tystysgrif GDG”) means an enhanced criminal record certificate issued under section 113B(1)(15) of the 1997 Act, which includes, in such cases as are from time to time prescribed under section 113BA(1) of that Act, suitability information relating to children;
DBS certificate means the certificate issued by the Disclosure and Barring Service following completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service check;

Examples of DBS certificate in a sentence

  • In accordance with the organisation’s procedures if required I agree to provide a valid DBS certificate and consent to the organisation clarifying any information provided on the disclosure with the agencies providing it.

  • Contractors engaging in regulated activity will require an enhanced DBS certificate (including barred list information).

  • It is the School's policy that a new DBS certificate is required for volunteers who will engage in regulated activity but who have not been involved in any activities with the School for three consecutive months or more.

  • For all other staff who have an opportunity for regular contact with children who are not engaging in regulated activity, an enhanced DBS certificate, which does not include a barred list check, will be appropriate.
