Deferred status definition
Deferred status means the status of an applicant in which the applicant will not be considered for an award, but will retain one's position on the waiting list[;].

If a SWMU or AOC is Deferred pursuant to Sections 11.A through 11.E, DOE shall provide annual written updates to NMED to include an explanation of what actions have been undertaken to move each SWMU or AOC out of Deferred status.
