Degree with Honours definition

Degree with Honours means a degree with honours awarded by a recognised university where the subject in respect of which the honours is awarded is appropriate to the classification and duties undertaken by the officer concerned.
Degree with Honours. – shall mean an honours program that is a specific additional year of study embedded in a Bachelor degree program, or forms part of a normal Bachelor degree program of four or more years’ duration or a graduate entry degree of three or more years’ duration.

  • Bachelor's Degree (3 year course) - 1st year; Bachelor's Degree with Honours (3 year course); Bachelor's degree (4 year course) - 2nd year.
