Denominational Service definition

Denominational Service means a person’s total elapsed time in completed years and months in the paid employment of any Church, any United Church of Christ Conference, any United Church of Christ Association or any other entity which is an organization controlled by or associated with the United Church of Christ.
Denominational Service means a person’s completed years and months in the paid employment of a church or convention or association of churches with which the Employer is associated, and/or in the paid employment of an agency or organization that is exempt from tax under section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code and that is controlled by or associated with the church or convention or association of churches with which the Employer is associated. Denominational Service also includes all years of service by a duly ordained, commissioned, or licensed minister of a church.
Denominational Service means a person’s completed years and months in the paid employment of the Synod and/or in the paid employment of an agency or organization that is exempt from tax under Code section 501 and that is controlled by or associated with the Synod. Denominational Service also includes all years of service by a duly ordained, commissioned, or licensed minister of the Synod.‌

Examples of Denominational Service in a sentence

  • For purposes of this Section (D), if the Employer is a Church-Related Organization, Denominational Service counts as service with the Qualified Organization in determining a Year of 403(b) Service.

  • Denominational Service also includes all years of service by a duly ordained, commissioned, or licensed minister of a church.

  • The Participant is responsible to inform the Employer of Denominational Service the Participant wishes the Plan to count.
