Department review definition

Department review means a review by the department of a community agency's submitted annual financial statement report. Review may include desk or quality control reviews or such other reviews as the department may establish by rule. Reviews are done for the purpose of accepting or rejecting the audit submission for federal and state department purposes or for the purpose of financially closing out the agreements for the department.
Department review means the procedure by which the Department reviews uses subject to management for the purpose of determining whether or not to do any of the following: issue or deny a certificate of compliance; concur with or object to any person or agency's consistency certification; agree or disagree with an agency's consistency determination; issue a consistency approval or objection; issue or deny a Department permit; or approve or disapprove a local permitting program.
