Deposit Security definition

Deposit Security. (“cash in lieu”). The Trust may suspend the ability of the Participant to engage in cash in lieu transactions with respect to any Series at any time, without prior notice.
Deposit Security means (a) Cash, and (b) Government Securities (other than GNMA, FNMA or FHLMC Certificates), provided that such instruments must have a remaining term to maturity of 30 days or less on the date they are delivered to the Trustee and must actually mature on or before the date in respect of which they were delivered to the Trustee.
Deposit Security means an in-kind deposit of a designated portfolio of equity securities as determined in the sole discretion of the Fund.

  • In the event of failure of the supplier as detailed above, the cost as per risk purchase exercise may be recovered from the Earnest Money Deposit/ Security Deposit/ Performance Security of the supplier and/or bills submitted by the supplier against the same contract or any other contract pending in the same Subsidiary Co. and/or in any other Subsidiary Companies /CIL.

  • In case of refusal to accept the job offered or failure to commence the work within the stipulated time period, the Earnest Money Deposit /Security Deposit, as the case may be, shall be forfeited.

  • With respect to any Purchase Order, each Fund acknowledges and agrees to return to the Participant or any party for which it is acting any dividend, distribution, or other corporate action paid to the Fund in respect of any Deposit Security that is transferred to the Fund that, based on the valuation of such Deposit Security at the time of transfer, should have been paid to the Participant or any party for which it is acting.

  • The Custodian shall on each day a Portfolio is open for the purchase or redemption of Portfolio Interests of such Portfolio compute the number of Portfolio Interests of each Deposit Security to be included in the current Fund Deposit (as defined in the Prospectus) and the Fund Securities and shall transmit such information to the NSCC.

  • In the case of a cash purchase or where the cash equivalent value of one or more Deposit Securities is being deposited in lieu of such Deposit Security, the AP must pay the cash equivalent of the Deposit Securities it would otherwise be required to provide through an in-kind purchase, plus the same Cash Component required to be paid by an in-kind purchaser.

  • The Trust acknowledges its agreement to return to the AP or any party for which it is acting any dividend, distribution or other corporate action paid to the Trust in respect of any Deposit Security that is transferred to Trust that, based on the valuation of such Deposit Security at the time of transfer, should have been paid to the AP or any party for which it is acting.

  • With respect to any Creation Order of a particular Fund, such Fund acknowledges and agrees to return to the Participant any dividend, distribution or other corporate action paid to the Fund in respect of any Deposit Security transferred to the Fund that, based on the valuation of such Deposit Security at the time of transfer, should have been paid to the Participant or Participant Client.

  • Deposit Secured Loan means a loan in which the only collateral securing the loan is Assumed Deposits or deposits at other insured depository institutions

  • Mandatory Securities Depository means a foreign securities depository or clearing agency that, either as a legal or practical matter, must be used if the Fund determines to place Foreign Assets in a country outside the United States (i) because required by law or regulation; (ii) because securities cannot be withdrawn from such foreign securities depository or clearing agency; or (iii) because maintaining or effecting trades in securities outside the foreign securities depository or clearing agency is not consistent with prevailing or developing custodial or market practices.

  • Uncertificated Security shall have the meaning given such term in Section 8-102(a)(18) of the UCC.

  • Clearing Account means the account so designated and established by Section 5.04(1) hereof.

  • Clearing Corporation Security means securities which are in the custody of or maintained on the books of a Clearing Corporation or a nominee subject to the control of a Clearing Corporation and, if they are Certificated Securities in registered form, properly endorsed to or registered in the name of the Clearing Corporation or such nominee.

  • Exempt Security means any security that is expressly exempted from the preclearance or reporting requirements of the Code, where applicable.

  • Government Security means any security issued or guaranteed as to principal or interest by the United States, or by a person controlled or supervised by and acting as an instrumentality of the Government of the United States pursuant to authority granted by the Congress of the United States; or any certificate of deposit for any of the foregoing.

  • Component Security means with respect to an Index, each component security of that Index.

  • Book-Entry Note means a beneficial interest in the Notes, ownership and transfers of which shall be made through book entries by a Clearing Agency as described in Section 2.10 of the Indenture.

  • Contract Security means any security given by the Contractor to the NCC in accordance with the Contract;

  • Debt Security or "Debt Securities" has the meaning stated in the first recital of this Indenture.

  • Coupon Security means any Bearer Security authenticated and delivered with one or more Coupons appertaining thereto.

  • Book-Entry Capital Security means a Capital Security, the ownership and transfers of which shall be made through book entries by a Clearing Agency as described in Section 5.11.
