Design Proposals means a preliminary design the purpose of which is to express the idea of architectural and other main solutions of a construction works being designed, and which is presented as material for a competition to choose a designer and may be used for the preparation of design conditions.
Design Proposals means the Contractor’s design for the Facility as set out in Schedule 29 (Design Proposals); Design Data means all drawings, reports, documents, plans, software, formulae, calculations and other data relating to the design, construction, testing or operation of the Project in each case that is used by or on behalf of the Contractor and/or its Sub- Contractors in connection with the provision of the Works and/or the Services or the performance of the Contractor’s obligations under this Contract; Direct Losses means all damage, losses, liabilities, claims, actions, costs, expenses (including the cost of legal or professional services, legal costs being on an indemnity basis), proceedings, demands and charges whether arising under statute, contract or at common law but, to avoid doubt, excluding Indirect Losses; Directive has the meaning given to it in Schedule 20 (Employment and Pensions); Disclosed Data means information relating to the Project disclosed to the Contractor including:

Examples of Design Proposals in a sentence

  • All Things for incorporation and workmanship comprised in the Works shall be of good quality and in exact conformity with any Requirements and/or any Contractor’s Design Proposals.

  • In the case of any discrepancy within the Contractor’s Design Proposals the Authority may choose between discrepant items or agree any proposal from the Contractor to resolve the discrepancy and there shall be no increase in the Contract Sum or adjustment to the Date or Dates for Completion.
