Designated Collection Facility definition

Designated Collection Facility. – means any establishment or undertaking carrying out collection operations and which is approved by the Secretary of State under regulation 70;
Designated Collection Facility or “DCF” means any establishment or undertaking carrying out WEEE collection operations and which is approved under regulation 55 of the Regulations;
Designated Collection Facility or “DCF” means a site which has been designated under the Regulations as one receiving household WEEE of which producers are required to finance the collection, treatment, recovery and environmentally sound disposal in accordance with Article 8.1 of the Directive; “Directive” means the WEEE Directive;
