Designated Committees definition

Designated Committees for purposes of these Bylaws means any ACA committee that makes recommendations or decision directly impacting its elite athletes, including at least the following (by name or by function):
Designated Committees means the (i) Nominating Committee, (ii) Finance Committee, and (iii) each committee or task force empowered to: (A) resolve any Athlete’s grievance, or (B) select participants in an international bowling competition (including, but not limited to, athletes, coaches, trainers, administrators and officials).

Examples of Designated Committees in a sentence

  • All Athletes appointed to CTF committees or task forces other than, Designated Committees, must be Team Canada Athletes or Actively Engaged Athletes.

  • Both Team Canada Athletes and Actively Engaged Athletes directly elect or appoint Athlete Council Members, the Athlete Council Delegate, the athletes serving on Designated Committees, and the CTF Representative and Alternate to the COC Athletes Advisory Council.

  • Athletes on all committees, including Designated Committees, shall be selected by the President with approval of athletes, or a representative group of athletes, who are eligible to serve.

  • Athletes on all Committees, including Designated Committees, shall be selected by the Board of Directors with approval of athletes, or a representative group of athletes, who are eligible to run.

  • Section 8.8.1. - Representation on Boards and Designated Committees Athlete representatives shall equal at least 20 percent of all NGB boards of directors, executive boards, and other governing boards, as well as those committees that are "Designated Committees" within the meaning of these by-laws.

  • The Executive Director shall determine whether any committee established under this Section 9.1 shall be treated as a Designated Committee, in which event such committee shall, at all times, follow the selection process for Athlete Representatives on Designated Committees set forth in Section 10.1.2.

  • Athletes on Designated Committees shall be selected by the USA Triathlon’s Athletes’ Advisory Council.

  • Athlete representatives must meet the Elite 10 Year Athlete eligibility requirements listed in Section 6.8(a) to serve on Designated Committees.

  • Appointments of Athlete Representatives to Designated Committees as defined in Bylaw 41 are subject to the approval of the Corporation AAC.

Related to Designated Committees

  • Committees means Committees of the Board for the time being in force.

  • Authorized committee means the political committee authorized

  • Board Committee means those individual members of the Board of Directors who have been appointed by the Board of Directors with the powers and responsibilities specified in Article VIII and to which has been delegated any fiduciary responsibilities of the Board of Directors with respect to the Plan.

  • Audit Committee or Committee means Committee of Board of Directors of the Company constituted under provisions of Listing agreement and Companies Act, 2013.

  • Nominating Committee means the nominating committee of the board of directors of the Company established pursuant to the Articles, or any successor committee.

  • Disciplinary Committee means any person or committee of persons, or any subcommittee thereof, that is author- ized by a self-regulatory organization to issue disciplinary charges, to con- duct disciplinary proceedings, to settle disciplinary charges, to impose dis- ciplinary sanctions or to hear appeals thereof.

  • Retirement Committee means a committee consisting of the Company’s Vice President of Human Resources, the Director of HR Operations and the Compensation & Benefits Manager.

  • Compensation Committee means the Compensation Committee of the Board.

  • Executive Committee means a group of directors elected or appointed to act on behalf of, and within the powers granted to them by, the Commission.

  • Supervisory Committee means an oversight committee elected at a general meeting;

  • OPSI Advisory Committee means the committee established under Tariff, Attachment M, section III.G.

  • Independent Committee means a committee of the board of directors of the General Partner made up of directors that are “independent” of Brookfield and its Affiliates, as contemplated by applicable securities Laws;

  • Joint Committee means the Joint Committee established by Article 164(1) of the withdrawal agreement;

  • OH&S Committee is referred to hereafter, read “body nominated to implement policy on site”.

  • Advisory Committee means the Employer's Advisory Committee as from time to time constituted.

  • Listing Committee the listing committee of the Stock Exchange;

  • Administrative Committee means the committee in charge of Plan administration, as described in Article VII.

  • Sub-Committee means a committee of a committee created by the board.

  • Party committee means any committee organized by or authorized by the

  • Hearing Committee means the committee appointed pursuant to this Plan to hear a request for an evidentiary hearing that has been properly filed and pursued by a practitioner.

  • Coordinating Committee means the committee designated and elected as provided in section 16d in connection with a township consolidation.
