The interest rate on each Accepted Note shall be calculated by MetLife at the time of Acceptance as the sum of (i) the yield to maturity or the yield or linearly interpolated yield, as the case may be, on the Designated Treasuries, Designated Gilt(s) or the Designated Euro Securities, as the case may be, with a maturity corresponding to the average life of the Accepted Note plus (ii) the spread specified in the relevant Quotation.
