Detail Design definition

Detail Design means the engineering analyses, calculations and detail design drawings and specifications in accordance with the “design criteria” for the supply, erection and construction of Site works, buildings, structures, modules, systems or equipment.
Detail Design means a document of the scope and composition of the normative construction technical documents prepared in accordance with the technical Design and requirements of the Technical Task, which includes details of Technical Design solutions, and according to which the Works must be performed. The Contractor is responsible for the preparation of the Detail Design.

  • At least 2 (three) different methodologies must be proposed in the assessment report in cases where a Concept and/or Preliminary Design is not required so that the Client is presented with an array of design options from which to make decisions for progression to Detail Design.

  • This report shall, as a minimum, cover all the duties as specified under Detail Design including: • Deviations from standards, e.g., geometric, drainage, road classification, structures, etc.

  • The Contractor shall require each employee, consultant or designer to execute a waiver of moral rights in a form reasonably satisfactory to the Owner and with respect to the preparation by employees, consultants and other individuals engaged by the designers in preparation of the Design & Engineering Documents, the Detail Design Documents and the Work.

  • The Contractor covenants and agrees that the Design & Engineering Documents and the Detail Design Documents shall be prepared in accordance with the professional standard defined in Section 4.1.2, and shall be in compliance with and accurately reflect all applicable Laws.

  • The ENGINEER will conduct a review meeting with the OWNER approximately two (2) weeks after the submission of the Detail Design Submittal, an approximate 60-percent level of design.

  • The Contractor shall prepare a Notional Detail Design and Construction Schedule (A039).

  • Review shipyard’s Detail Design Drawings for compliance with the Contract, regulatory requirements and good marine practice.
