DIG SAFE definition

DIG SAFE. The Licensee shall comply with all applicable “dig-safe” provisions, pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 82, Section 40.
DIG SAFE means a one-call damage prevention system, established and funded by public utilities that own and operate underground facilities within the State, for the purpose of receiving and giving notice of proposed excavation activity pursuant to R.I. Gen. Laws Chapter 39-1.2, Excavation Near Underground Utility Facilities.
DIG SAFE means the process of notifying the Dig Safe organization prior to any excavation and all the procedures associated with the Maine State "Underground Protection of Facilities Act" found at 23 MRSA §3360.
