Direct Care Nurse definition
Direct Care Nurse means a nurse who is routinely assigned to a patient care unit, who is replaced for scheduled and unscheduled absences and includes charge nurses if the charge nurse is not management services.
Direct Care Nurse means a registered nurse who is engaged in direct patient care responsibilities in an inpatient hospital unit setting for more than fifty percent of his or her working hours.
