DIRECTV Subscribers means those customers (both residential and non-residential) authorized by Affiliate to receive a DIRECTV branded DTH service via the DTH Distribution System to a customer's Set-Top Box (as defined below), provided that nothing herein shall prohibit the transfer of Service programming by a DIRECTV Subscriber from such Subscriber's Set-Top Box to a portable viewing device. "Service Subscribers" shall mean DIRECTV Subscribers authorized by Affiliate to receive the Subscription Offerings and/or PPV Offerings. "Internet" shall mean the electronic communications network that connects computer networks and organizational computer facilities around the world. "World Wide Web" means the hypertext transfer protocol-based, distributed information system that facilitates sharing information and content via the Internet. A "Set-Top Box" means a device that connects to, or is integrated as part of, a television or other video output display device ("Display Device") and also connects to the source of Affiliate's audio/visual signal, the content of which then is displayed on the Display Device.

  • DIRECTV retains and reserves any and all rights in and to, and may use in its sole discretion, all distribution capacity contained within the bandwidth of the Signals, including, without limitation, the VBI and audio subcarriers, from the point of reception by DIRECTV to the DIRECTV Subscribers in the Territory.

  • Programmer shall not have any rights to use any part of a DIRECTV Subscriber's return path for any reason whatsoever.

  • At such time that the subscribers currently using the direct-to-home satellite services offered by Primestar and USSB become DIRECTV Subscribers, TiVo shall have the same rights with respect to such subscribers under this Marketing Agreement as TiVo has with respect to the DIRECTV Subscribers currently existing on the date hereof, provided that nothing in this Section 2.1.3(e) shall be construed to extend DIRECTV's obligations under this Section 2 beyond the end of the Marketing Period.

Related to DIRECTV Subscribers

  • Subscribers shall have the meaning set forth in the section of this Escrow Agreement titled “Background.”

  • User Subscriptions means the user subscriptions purchased by the Customer and set out in the Subscription Order Form which entitle Authorised Users to access and use the Services in accordance with this Agreement.
